Surely I'm not the only one that can only play for 10 minutes and then get error code weasel and not be able to log on again. I would like some answers from Bungie since this has been happening all month but they never reply to weasel posts.
Edit: For those telling me to call my service provider or to alter my Xbox One setup this is the only game with connection issues I've been experiencing.

When that happened to me, it was because my router was overheating due to a pile of clothes being placed on it. I highly recommend checking your router as the problem.

Only happens to me on Iron Banner, and every time it happens I am disconnected from Xbox live and forced to turn my Xbox off and back on

I was in the same position you are in right now and believe me, it is YOUR Internet connection. I did some research into the weasel code and found that it is caused by packet loss, which is a small portion of data flow gone missing. Believe me, it is happening when you play any game, but Destiny's online coding detects something is amiss when it doesn't receive all the data it sends out to the server, and thus kicks a player. Here is what I recommend you do; call your provider, tell them you have a problem with packet loss and you need a technician sent to your home. Make sure they check the following; Your router/modem Your Ethernet cable (make sure it is CAT.5E, it should say it's model on the cable, and if it isn't, ask for one) The PCT cable (the one that connects to the wall) The Internet wiring in your house (this was my personal problem, as the technician who originally set up my Internet did a half-ass job and the one I requested fixed it) External sources, such as a Central Hub in your neighbourhood Make sure the technician looks at all this stuff because it can be multiple causes for packet loss. Hope this helps not only you, but anyone who experiences that damn weasel in their console.

It's hit or miss here. Some days I get weasel errors like they're going out of style, others I don't. That said, it is definitely my most persistent error. If I get booted out of the game, 8/10 a weasel is the culprit.

I think it's your connection to the host, I go from not getting it for a month to getting it twice a day. It may be just you luck connecting to people with bad internet.

Yeah this happens in crucible every few games it's just like this is a connection problem making it seem like our fault but it's really their sucky servers

Weasel had me so mad I threw stuff. Are you on wi-fi? Two things to do: Set static ip for your xbox Setup dmz Don't port forward with the dmz set up because it causes issues. I did this two days ago and so far it's been just fine.

I faced an OP team in Trials of Osiris. Weasel Anteater Caterpillar They wiped the floor with my team. I think they used a lag switch!
