Exotic Weapon Review: Queenbreaker's Bow -Sniping for Dummies-

Ever get domed by a vandal and think "wish i could have a frigging Wire Rifle"? Well look no further, Guardians. Meet the Queenbreaker's Bow, basically the Vex Mythoclast's younger brother who got tired of his parents comparing him to successful big brother, and set out to prove himself. This weapon defies typical Fusion Rifles just like the Vex, but does so in a different way. Unlike a typical Fusion Rifle, this one charges a single beam, instead of seven. And this single beam hurts like hell. This weapon is rather different to handle -in a refreshing way- and is about as close to a rail gun as this game gets. Unlike Fusion Rifles, the Bow acts more like a sniper rifle. And, unlike sniper rifles, this one needs to be charged. This charge time can be the difference between a kill and an awkward countersnipe. However, once you get used to the charge time on both sights, this weapon is really too easy to aim. The Bow has a naturally high target acquisition, alongside comfortable easy-to-use sights and the Hidden Hand perk. Sniping with this weapon actually starts to feel almost boring, as the game practically does all of the aiming for you. Nevertheless, it cant be denied that the Bow is an incredible weapon, effective to use, and dangerous to underestimate. Also, despite the fact that this weapon is designed to act like a Sniper Rifle, it has really good hip fire capability -insanely good, in fact. The natural hip fire capability of a Fusion Rifle, coupled with the Hip Fire perk on the weapon means that some of the more hardcore players will be landing no-scope headshots to an almost annoying extent. The only real drawback to this weapon is the crucial charge time and the lower-than-average precision multiplier. This makes the Bow rather undesirable in PvE. In fact, the only reasons anybody would really have to use this weapon in PvE is either for levelling it, or to have an epeen for others to oggle at. Overall, the Queenbreaker's Bow is a very formidable PvP weapon. This was basically Bungie/Activisions version of a CQC sniper rifle, and it certainly fills the role as such. While it may not have much of a place in PvE content, this weapon is nearly uncontested in PvP, and is capable of holding its own at any range -again, to an annoying extent in the hands of some of the more hardcore players.
