Exotic Sidearm Concept

Here is my concept for an exotic sidearm for Destiny: Weapon Tier: Exotic Damage Type: Void Weapon Name: Blackjack Weapon Type: Sidearm Aesthetics: A sleek, black sidearm with a small bayonet in the front. The barrel is octagonal, and the bayonet is an extremely bright orange-yellow with lightning streaking along it constantly. Every time a shot is fired the lightning turns a bright purple and quickly back. Tagline: "Blackjack is a game of luck, money, and counting cards. This pistol doesn't need luck, costs a lot of money, and unfortunately can't count cards for me" - Cayde-6. Major Perk 1: Icarus (a new HoW perk which gives you bonus accuracy while airborne). Major Perk 2: Holding down the trigger after a shot charges a secondary arc explosion (the longer you hold the trigger down the more damage it does, like the scorch cannon, it takes about 2-3 seconds to fully charge, can be charged while reloading, and fully charged it takes out about a third of a guardians health). Perk Tree: Explosive Rounds, injection mold (one of the HoW perks that increase stability and handling but reduces range), and reinforced barrel (one of the new HoW perks that increases range but reduces stability). First Tier Perk: Pressing melee while aiming down the sights fires the bayonet, using up your melee charge (this will take out half of a guardians health, this can pierce through enemies, will count as a melee kill, and it vaporizes after it hits a wall and teleports back onto the gun). This will also instantly recharge you melee attack if you get a kill with it and will acquire the abilities of your melee attack (Examples: energy drain, scorch solar wind, blink-stike back stab, storm fist amplified, etc.) Hidden Perk: Meleeing with the weapon once the exotic perk is bought cause you to swing with the weapon, dealing about two-thirds of a guardians health to the enemy. Stats: Maxed rate of fire/low impact, decent range (about normal hand cannon range), high stability (a little more than two-thirds of the bar), maxed reload, 21 (Blackjack). EDIT: I changed the bayonet perk around a little bit. EDIT: Does anyone else have any exotic/legendary sidearm ideas?

  • White Lie "Sure, you're just as good as me." Aesthetics- completely white, except for some black on the back end of it. Dramatically extended barrel. Perks- Barrels: Accurized ballastics Linear compensator Aggressive ballistics First perk: Zen moment Second perks: Extended mag Hammerforged Explosive rounds 3rd perk: Never hurt anyone... Reduces damage falloff considerably. Causing damage increases the impact of the next bullet if it hits the same target, but causes damage to yourself as well.
