No drops for defeating Skolas
I was pretty disappointed to learn that the shader, ship and etc. does not drop when defeating Skolas for the first time and that a key is required to gain access to these items. I spent quite a bit of time playing him this weekend and was very defeated when I learned post fight that this was a requirement.
Bungie,
I love the game but somethings should just be a given once completed. He is a boss and defeating a boss should be rewarded.
Please trend this if you agree.

a fair point. you should point out that Bungie screwed this whole treasure chest system too. sure people farmed the ether chests at first but now you can't even find the damn things and 90% of the stuff in that queens chest is crap queens weapons. I think most hardcore players still play it for the elder cipher.
