Speculating what the new "Taken" race will be like (Vote!)
There's been a lot of speculation on the new Comet DLC "The Taken King". Many believe it to concern Oryx and a new race he leads called "the Taken". What do you think they will be like? (Pls no haters, whiners, or people who hate on Destiny but are still on the forums for some unknown reason).

Boost power is tied to kills, and shields do not regenerate. A flawless tournament card wins you a trip to the queen's private nightclub in the reef, where guardians can bust a move on the disco floor to earn new dance moves, a custom paint option for armor, and sponsorship from Suros that automatically replenishes weapon parts and motes for reforging. Clearly I misread.

4 RepliesThe cryptard says "oryx, dead, king" over and over. We know oryx is alive, so he's not the dead king. That makes me think he's the king of the dead. The Taken will be reanimated corpses of other enemy types, either mish-mashed together or purely hive zombies. That's my guess anyway! E3 starts real soon so hopefully we'll know next week

I think either a completely new species or dead guardians because he is called the dead king so he probably like fills the corpses of his victims with darkness and xombifies them either way it will be awesome

It doesn't matter to me what they are. Nothing will stop me from killing Oryx. Crota was hard enough to kill, [i]he's the weakest in his family.[/i] Oryx, well, this is gonna hurt. A lot.

The Cabal, Fallen, and Hive along with Kabr, Toland, and Praedith could all be under the control of Oryx. The corrupted guardians would add *hopefully* new styles of boss fights or fights in general.
