Well guys, it seems that it's come time to start a conversation. I've been seeing a whole lot popping up regarding a [u]new method of gaining Golden Gun quickly[/u], [i]which sounds like I'm leading into a get rich quick scheme.[/i] (Sidebar: this would normally be great forum activity, but instead most of the topics are puerile whining, a literal tsunami of scrub tears has washed across this community), relying on Assets to Ashes and the Swarm Grenade, which registers individual fragment hits as individual grenade kills, thereby granting a large amount of super energy (7%, possibly 14% as this stacks if using the exotic, Young Ahamkara's Spine, which Xur sold last week [u]the only arm piece with ashes to asset on it[/u]) [b]So let's talk builds[/b]. [i]What's your go to build? What feels right? What are you devilishly treacherous at doing, dependent on a sole few perks stacking up on each other in a really OP way[/i] The hope and dream of this lil baby thread, is that some day people will grow to be able to share builds and therefore allow the game to grow around a community that understands how to counter different perk/subclass tree "Builds" Here are mine: If you're wondering I niché MIDA, Radiant Dance, and Eye of Sol on a Gunslinger, technically that is very ranged, but I find my ability to outmaneuver rushers and use tripmines/throwing knives to make me a suitable threat in a rumble setting. More recently I have been rumbling with Lucky Rasberry granting me a tripmine each life, and wearing a helm with switchblade, to throw two knives (from the gamblers dagger tree perk) For warlock I've recently started to enjoy the nothing manacles, but I'm more useful as a sunsinger with two scorches and stacked melee attack speed on the iron banana helm with the claws of ahamkara (but then aren't we all?) [i]flavor: I really like that all the Ahamkara gear is magically perk/mixing/breaking/defying[/i] I don't yet have the Bones of Eau, but can imagine MIDA/quadruple jump will turn me into a real life celestial Nighthawk. So I'll give you an IOU on my build for that. For Titan Running MIDA and full agility and shoulder charge with transfusion is just plain menacing and hilarious, someone gets rushed by a shotgunner, and by the time they have blinked once I've made a full circle and shoulder charged them in the side before they can blink again, and then yay, free health on a titan? [u]Transfusion is underrated[/u] So yeah #rektbytext What are your thoughts on the Swarm grenade Golden gun build? How do you plan to counter it?
