I understand why you're upset. Really, I do. It does seem unfair.
However, this is a serious problem in our modern society: rewarding mediocrity. Entitled behavior simply for being present. Participation awards, trophies for 4th place, pizza parties for attendance, abandoning scores so no one feels excluded, equal turns at-bat. If everyone is special, then no one is. We should strive and scrape to earn our rewards---not expect them just because we showed interest.
If you want it, practice until you earn it. If you can't earn it, shift your focus elsewhere.[/b][/i]
I personally don't play pvp and probably will never get to this endgame but that's fine ive got the raids and now the prison. Maybe someday i will have a crack at pvp and try for this. I do think its deserved for those that are good at the game to be rewarded for it. The above quote from a fellow guardian whom i have never met is spot on Kudos bud.

The trick is to play like the pvp elitist but smarter. Trick them, kill one, guard him, kill the ones that come for him, dance, ????, repeat.
-
Did you really quote the incredible and expect to be taken seriously?
-
It's not that I think it should be given out. It's that Trials is so broken that it isn't fair when you can get kicked out from Bungie's shitty servers.
-
If you dont live in America and you have shit Internet don't even bother trying PVP it's a total waste of space on the hard drive trust me!!! Can't even play the PVE because of my connection, biggest waste of money for a game I have ever made

The issue: Xur hands out exotics. My take: He shouldn't be handing out exotics to people just because they don't have them. That's lazy. People's reaction: "Special snowflake! When Xur sells Gjallarhorn, you'll melt like the water you are!" The issue: PvE players want to get into the lighthouse. My take: They shouldn't be handed the ability to get into an exclusive area just because they can't get into it. That's lazy. People's reaction: "Thank you! That's what I've been saying." Hmmm....

Yeah i cant believe all the people whining about it not being fair you can only get there if you go 9-0. Seems like more then half the gaming community now a days expects welfare handouts like the better half of America 0.o

Saw this last week. Well said.

Bump. Finally someone with a realistic point of view. I used to be useless in PvP, but after a lot of practice in the Iron Banner & crucible in general I gradually became significantly better. Good luck to you, 9-0 in trials is really not as difficult as some people make out.

Bumpity, completely agree I suck at pvp as well but don't think this is a bad thing

Bump! Agreed. As a new PvP player I've found my new goal in Destiny. The lighthouse is my new Gally hunt but in this case I have to do more than hope. LoL. Sucks having to work hard at something doesn't it...

That quote applies very well to the world in general not just destiny damn spot on

Edited by Old Man Lawlor: 5/30/2015 11:21:13 AMI just dont see why we pve players cannot visit it after killing skolas.

A wise man once said "you know what they say, people in glass houses sink sh-sh-ships".

Almost no one earns this. My friend is a terrible pvp player but because he has the Thorn he went 9-0. There is no skill involved

Bumping this post because you still have your brain cells. Thank you for agreeing that you shouldn't be entitled to everything. People need to earn things in life, not expect everything handed to them on a silver platter.

Edited by Tx J reddy: 5/29/2015 5:49:22 AMAgreed. The pvp is crazy as -blam!-. The people who don't cheat and are just naturally talented I tip my hat to you. I've been good at every fps multi player to date but this game I am just average.
