Thorn Vs. The Last Word
Alright, guys. Yin Vs. Yang. Evil and Good. I just got Thorn from the bounty yesterday and now Xür is selling The Last Word. Which of the hand cannons is better? PVE and PVP? What are your experiences with either? Situational or constant? And what are the best perks to choose from for both gun? Thanks. Feel free to post!
Edit: So I have read and thought about every single one of your posts. I even was able to win a TLW through a Crota's End raid and tried it myself. I have come to the conclusion that the one I'm going to use is[spoiler]The Vex Mythoclast[/spoiler]

I ended up liking TLW more. But I used Thorn to take down Skolas for the first time. So I guess that explains what's PVP or PVE for me.

1 Reply[b]you'd be surprised how many people use tlw improperly. And ADS the entire time. Getting used to hipfiring takes practice. And a lot of people play on too high of a sensitivity. Which results in thorn bieng more used. [/b]

I find TLW a ton of fun to use. Plus you look so cool using it. Thorn is just a monster. But nowhere near as fun to use.

I have both, and i will admit i use last word more on pvp But in pve i mainly use my thorn... (i barely play pve)

My point being is that i hear the usual blam-blam-blam-blam from people using the TLW across the map; i aim for the head and usually take them down with 2-3 well placed shots. As for Thorn, it's even easier. I burn, but hardly get killed on a 1 v 1 situation. I know TLW has increased accuracy from the hip, but I hardly use it like that.

28 RepliesLast word has been op and is currently overused. Its used by at least 3 ppl on the opposing team pretty much every game and kills the fastest in the game. Thorn cant come close to beating it if you land any shots with the last word. Its a joke
