So I'm not a big fan of trading for this game just because there would probably bring about and outside real money economy for selling exotics. However, and this is just an idea, there could be trading for reward screen from strikes (nightfall) and raids.
For example, I do a nightfall with some friends and I get The Last Word, if I had one and didn't need it, then I could trade it with a friend who was in that match with me for their rewards (strange coins or whatever), there would obviously be some sort of voting and you could decline it so someone couldn't steal your reward.
The same goes for crucible rewards and raid rewards. You could see after a raid whether someone actually did any work and you would be able to see what they did in the match or the raid since you ran it with them. This method would require that you have to do the work in the first place. Like if I got The Last Word in a Crucible match and someone with a K/D of 0.30 requests it, I would obviously refuse that request.
This method would allow trading but would still require people to work for it and would limit the amount of trading, therefore excluding any sort of outside economy. Please post any suggestions you guys have and if you don't like it tell me why, don't shoot something down just because you don't like it.

Edited by MandoTHX1138: 5/15/2015 11:31:38 PMI made a similar suggestion about this. I think there is something in restricted trading. I just got my fifth hawkmoon from nf and my buddy got coins and he doesn't have hm. I'd gladly swap him and he will most likely return the favour later on. All round trading however, i think is a bad idea because ill bet we will end up seeing gallys on eBay.

well how would this work with RNG and the person with .30 K/D got the last word, everyone could vote to take it away? thats not really fair, just cause that person sucks, doesn't mean the randomness of the game should be disregarded, I agree trading should be a factor, but bungie already told us to go -blam!- ourselves, therefor we won't get it, and if they were to implement trading, they may as well do races for items so you can trade that way (or at least have some fun trying to win new exotics legit)
