People still think faction shaders/ships drop at certain ranks, and that higher ranks increase likelihood of rarer items. I made a post about my dead orbit rank and fended off ignorant idiots left and right about this stuff. Ang god forbid to I combine my rank between all 3 characters, that's not how this if works apparently. EVERY package starting at 3 is RNG from a pool of the same items, rank does not influence likelihood of anything. That is all.
