In multiplayer based games like CoD, players have the option to vote on what map they want to play on for the next match. Why has Destiny not incorporated this into the Crucible? Below: Just my thought process and why I think it would make crucible so much more enjoyable I was listening to the Planet Destiny podcast #15 when I heard someone say that they where glad Bastion and First light where taken out of the regular crucible circulation because he didn't want to use a scout rifle/sniper. When Bastion was taken out I was happy because It was such a slow paced and visually boring map. I remember specifically during the first week Destiny had come out, I was playing Control and got my least favorite map, bastion, 3 times in a row. what are the odds that would happen(and yes I know bungie made it so you are less likely to repeat map if your in a full fireteam). I backed out every single time I got that map just because I'm a very aggressive player and like to rack up on kills fast. But I love First Light because it bring back Nostalgia of playing that and Shores of time over and over again in the Beta. Since they removed this map I felt like playing it so I went into Combined arms and guess what, I got bastion 75% of the time. That stinks, I want to play a map that brings back memories but instead I get stuck playing my least favorite map. The fact that map selection is completely random doesn't really make sense to me. Everyone has there favorite maps,mine are; shores of time, rusted lands, and firebase delphi, but Its random. I could go a full 5 hours of playing PvP and not see Shores of Time once and that is frustrating. Sorry for kinda ranting but I just realized how much of an improvement this would be to Crucible. Having the choice of the previous map, a new map, or a random map would allow players to select maps that they either enjoy or preform better on. This probably would not be hard to incorporate into Crucible considering the developers are Bungie and Activision. What are your opinions on this idea?
