Alright, I have some ideas and suggestions for factions. Some of these may have shown up in the forums already, sorry if I'm repeating anyone. 1. Faction packages. I'll start off with Commendations. These should not be legendary, we get them far to often (all the time) for them to take up a legendary spot when picking up a hard earned package. They should be lowered to rare so we have a greater chance of getting something useful. Strange coins and Motes of Light. I believe that Coins should be taken out, if I want a Strange coin then I'll do the Heroic or farm for engrams. If I get a Mote of Light I think it should give more then just one, like say some where between 5-10. That way if that's all I get its a bit more worth it. Ascendant Energy/Shards. I don't think these should be in them as well for the reason that'd I'd rather get armor or a weapon so I can choose to keep it or turn it into material. That way I have an option, and I end up doing dismantling them any how because I don't like the roll or I have no need for it. Emblems. I don't have to much of a problem getting them but I know others do. I think they should stay even if I can just go buy them. Gotta have some kind of empty package or it'd be to easy. ;) 2. Faction Makers/Bonds/Cloaks. Why are they legendary if they do not look like they are? I think they could be much more eh...flashy. Something that makes us be proud to wear our faction colors and not so bland. The Titians needs more the a cloth on their hip, they need something like the Speaker sells that wraps around the waist. Hunters need the option to wear a long flowing cloak if that's their style or a scarf if they like the more ninja approach. Warlock bonds should flame or glow in the fraction colors so it's more noticeable. Let us be Proud to fly our faction colors and not say "I wear it cause it's the only way to get level up my faction." 3. Shaders! What everyone is after and not so many are lucky to get. My idea is that we can get a shader every 5 levels. A random shader but a shader. I know a lot of people who put everything into a faction and nothing, most of them being rank 20+, that way they have a bit of hope and light at the end of the tunnel. Or have an increase drop rate added when ever you don't get one. Like say a 5% increase maxing out at 40% drop rate, then resets when you get a shader and starts over again. 4. Re-rolling Weapons. I would love to re-roll some of my weapons I get from my faction. I'm with dead orbit but use none of their weapons because every time I get one the roll is so bad that I won't keep it. If we could use those Commendations that just sit in our inventory and a few Motes of Light to re-roll them it would give another use for Commendations and Motes. And it would give use to our faction vendors. (this applying to all including Vanguard and Crucible) 5. Exotic Weapons. I think it'd be a good idea to add an exotic weapon to each of the factions. Each of them having a specific exotic. Example: DO: Shotgun. FWC: Scout Rifle. NM: Auto Rifle...and so on and so forth. And this only being put onto the loot table at say Rank 20 or even 50. That way it's a Vet weapon so you know what faction a Guardian puts time into. And then it should be purchasable at say rank 100 for the faithful Guardian who may never get it from a drop. 6. Ship, Sparrow, Ghost Shells. Ship: I think the Ship being rare for most is a good thing (I have yet to get one my self) but I think the % of the drop rate should go up around rank 40 or so. Sparrow: I don't know if they are adding this for HoW and if they are awesome! But I think every faction should have one. Ghost Shells: Would be great to have a different Ghost Shell in my favorite faction and this is a great one to add them in. Okay, I think I'm done for now.
