This is some kind of joke right? Just read the Reef update post and I see a paragraph and a half devoted to the new freaking glowing ball in the Tower. Oooooo we love the ball, it's great, so much work went into designing it, blah, blah, it makes us feel warm and gooey inside, etc,etc, etc... Meanwhile the actual game, you know the one we play, has become a schizophrenic mess. Constant error codes booting myself and my teammates to the title screen. Enemies disappearing and reappearing within seconds, Last time I checked Dregs couldn't teleport. Teammates appearing dead on my screen and one of my teammates screens only to be very much alive and telling us via headset he had no idea what we were talking about. And arguably the best activity in the game on hard, is unplayable. We were stunned at what was happening in VOG. Crap we had never seen before. One word, Templar. This thing was soooo messed up it made Crota look like a level two shank by comparison. And lets just get this out of the way now, no we were not noobs that need to '' Get gud brah '' We have played this idiot many times before and have beaten him soundly and with time to spare. With five veteran 32's on our team, and one 31, all with previous VOG experience, this should have been cake. Instead it turned into a glitch fest filled nightmare. Magical harpies appearing out of nowhere, double sometimes triple detainments when they were not supposed to happen, no supers working, in particular self res, on my screen yellow bar is full and glowing, super was up, died went to pop it, nope, l1-R-1 simply not there, Templar triple teleporting like a crackhead, Templar appearing to crumble and die on several players screens only to ironically, self res himself and teleport to safety. Oracles being destroyed only to reappear with full health, relic holder dying from being marked a full ten seconds after cleansing, and sometimes double and triple cleansing just to be sure, didn't matter, Templar splash damage penetrating and killing players inside Ward of Dawn, three players with Gally, two with Hunger, and we got to enrage almost every try.In effect making the Templar harder to down then Crota. I haven't seen anything like this in this game before. A mini boss that should have taken us ten minutes tops, wound up taking three hours and I'm not even going to start on Atheon, we quit before that, but from what I have been hearing that part is even worse. But I come on here today, and see a post about this stupid glowing ball. Are you kidding me? How in the world, seriously I'm really asking, how in the world is anyone supposed to take you seriously as game designers and developers when the most important activity that you launched the game with becomes completely broken and literally winds up taking a back seat to a freaking glowing ball that nobody gives two shit about? I can only assume if VOG weapons and gear are getting light level facials and increased multipliers, that VOG will become relevant again, however, as it stands now, at least on hard, it's unplayable. Simply unplayable. And that, at this stage of the game, is simply unforgivable. Is it any wonder HOW is not going to have a raid? After what I just witnessed I can see why. But hey, we have a glowing ball. btw, not everybody plays this game in the offices of Santa Clara or wherever, sipping lattes, and programming in between Yoga classes with their game plugged into the freaking HAL 9000 ok. Don't come on here with '' Duh, it's connection brah '' learn to read, this went on for almost three hours, do you honestly think we didn't change host during that time at least on three occasions? Dedicated servers, learn what they are.
