Vanguard class item
Hey, I was wondering if buying a class item (Titan mark/ Warlock bond/ Hunter cape) from the vanguard and equipping it will give me xp for the Vanguard like it would for factions (FWC, Dead Orbit, And New Monarchy)?

1 ReplyWell, yes and no (actually no). Vanguard Class Items don't work like the one's from FWC, Dead Orbit and New Monarchy. If you have a Vanguard Class item equipped, your Rep acquired from Vanguard Bounties would to go Vanguard, but anything acquired from the Crucible would go to the Crucible rank, and not the Vanguard rank.

2 RepliesWell technically yes, but as long as you don't have a cape that belongs to either Dead Orbit, FWC or New monarchy your reputation would still go to the vanguard.

It gives you the XP anyway as long you aren't wearing a faction class item.
