Dear bungie...... Are you happy now?
Just wanted to say I have warned you of losing your fans; and congratulations on achieving it. I still play and will but becoming harder and harder when I can't get a raid group together because no one is playing anymore. If you would like to go back and view my warnings that you failed to heed that has led to this, please feel free. But don't you dare try to say that it's through normal loss of people coming to stopping points and moving on. If you do then I guess I will wait patiently for HoW to drop and let you realize that these people are not coming back. Yes I will wait patiently to point out your -blam!- ups.

There were only about 5 people on my friends list playing Destiny last night. It used to be almost all were playing. But they have moved to Borderlands, GTA V and Neverwinter.

2 RepliesSo what are you saying is that you continue to play and you will continue by bying HoW ? Good way to make a point lol .. On another note if you think Destiny is dying well obviously you play another game.. Its a 7 month console game .. That means that people have allready burn through it twice allready.. If a chunk from day one players is playing something else it is really ok and easy to predict.. 7 months dude.. Now if you cant find a group again you are obviously playing another game.. Its easier than never for me to do 6 raids and 3 nightfall per week .. Plus the majority of players out there are capable of completing raids.. And i am not from the US .. All you have to do is log in tracker and find a group within 5 minutes.. Now when HoW comes back prepare to be surprised.. Cause a lot of people who play something else right now will come back plus christmas players who continue to play plus newcomers.. Everyone is waiting for HoW right now .. After HoW - if it is a disappointment - i dont know if this game will die.. It probably will.. But HoW is gonna be huge again.. I am not defending Bungie here.. I am just pointing out that what you say is not true and is irrelevant...

I stopped playing but still troll forums and check for game updates. And I bought the dlc but I don't think I will play it as the grind is a real turnoff.

I agree with you about losing players, i had about 70 to 80 players on my friends list that i would raid with. I would hop online and invites would fly for raids and other activities. Now i send invites and noone even replys, been having to use the forums and even then what used to take 5 mins takes 20 or sometimes i just give up. The crota raid sucks and so do its weapons. Pvp hasnt changed much for the exception of nerfing weapons beyond recognition instead of balancing(AR). Still bugs in vog and crota is still cheeseable to hell. Everyone i talk to says they left the game for 1. Not enough to do 2. They got tired of the hamster wheel project that is RNG. Shards from nightfalls? Really? Bungie keeps that there to limit our chances at getting best gear. Before the trolls come out i love this game and i have every weapon and armor i ever cared to have, RNG has been good to me. With that said i still recognize what bungie continues to do, and that is ignore the community to the point where players get tired and leave. Will they return for HOW? maybe. I will say if HOW is not -blam!-ing epic beyond words i will not spend another dime on anything bungie, some good games coming out in near future. Nice post except the Halo part. I love halo lol, good day.

I struggle to understand how people can't find raid teams. I post on the correct part of the recruitment forums and normally end up with more teammates than I can use no matter what day or time.

No one plays anymore? Lmao I don't have issue getting raid parties or nightfall groups. Here's a tip: get friends or a clan. I know I just blew your mind and all with that unorthodox approach to getting groups bc it's a pretty new method and hasn't been tested to the fullest to yield consistent results but.. Give it a shot. You could help pioneer an entirely new way to play destiny. *sarcasm off* I love how you're so self absorbed that you consider yourself to be "players". Oh no! This one guy quit! 7 RepliesAgreed. And I honestly believe the loss of players could be dramatically slowed if there was much more communication from Bungie on some of these hot-button issues. It's the silence that makes us believe they don't care. If they don't care, why should we?

People in my friends list barely get on. I seem to only be able to have friends playing in Tuesday evenings and maybe Wednesdays, after that, friends list goes dead until following week. [spoiler]Probably need to acquaint myself with some Christmas noobs, but I have all exotics and raid gear, so I'll probably hang on until HoW[/spoiler]

Now I do it sometime on the weekend if I can be bothered. Once you get a new game, Destiny doesn't really have much to bring you back. I hardly ever come on here or the Reddit forum since Bloodborne came out. More and more players will be leaving from now on, and Bungie can only blame themselves. They have treated the players so shittily. Example: the heavy ammo problem could have been made less frustrating if they made Xur sell heavy ammo packs, but they always claimed he was uncontrollable. Until they proved they could control his stock a few weeks ago. Even if HoW is good, which I doubt it will be; and Comet is better (there is hope), Destiny will not be a must-play game anymore. It'll be a casual game. The 10 year plan will not live out.

15 RepliesThere are still alot of players who play and aren't on the forums. Now I'm not sure how many friends you have or what not, but I have over 400, still I would say 70% of them are playing Destiny. Your pool of evidence just isn't large enough. Or perhaps mine is too big.
