So the other day I was playing crucible, doing utter crap mind you, and when the game ended I was 5K/7D, yet the game feels the need to reward me with a Gjallerhorn. I mean that's just not fair to the person in my lobby who went 38K/2D. So I was thinking of a way to solve this and I think I found the answer. Basically what needs to happen is the crucible needs to award people in the lobby things called crucible coins. These coins can then be redeemable by the crucible quartermaster who will in turn reward you with either a blue item about 90% of the time or what ever the crucible stats are, a purple item 8-9% of the time, and an exotic 1-2% of the time. To get this random reward you will need 10 crucible coins. 1st place gets 10 coins, 2nd gets 8, then 6, then 4, then 2, and finally 1. This makes it to where everyone can get a reward, just the winner has more incentive to actually try and win and the people who are just not good at crucible will still be rewarded, just not as much.
