Bungie sold us a beta and expected us to be okay with it. It's very obvious with these "DLC's" that they are just selling us the game piece by piece. Squeezing more cash out of us by tricking us into thinking we're getting "premium content."
The truth is, ALL OF THE "DLC" IS ALREADY ON THE DISC.
1. The Grotto. Location of the Fist of Crota mission. Already accessible upon release.
2. Rasputin's Bunker Entrance. Already accessible upon release.
3. The Giant Conflux on Venus leading to a DLC mission in the sky. Already accessible upon release.
These are just 3 examples for the first 2 DLC's. All of these "DLC" areas are ALREADY CODED INTO THE GAME. We're just paying money to have them "unlock" the content for us. Which is bullshit.
It's like we paid for a house but all of the doors are locked and we have to pay extra money for each key. Wtf Bungie?
Also, if you haven't seen it, go watch the "Destiny E3 Trailer" and "Destiny Gameplay Reveal Trailer" on YouTube and look at all the shit they advertised that isn't in the -blam!-ing game or is still currently locked on the damn disc for a future sale price of $19.99. We all got played.

I just gotta error code vagina anyone else got this yet?

The comet should be Xbox one and Ps4 exclusive, because then Bungie could add SOOOOO much more to the game. Let's face it, the open world is NOT open at all! It's really small. Bungie promised us huge open worlds, but all it amounted to was area-sparrow path, area-sparrow path.

Also, the beta was 25% of the whole game. A beta really shouldn't give us that much when the game itself is so small

How many hours have you played?

Though this is sadly true, there's nothing we can do. Its either buy the expansions or stop playing completely, and personally I love this game and wish to continue playing. It may cost me a couple bucks in the long-run but I really don't care. So stop bitching and sell your copy of Destiny if you don't like it.

Development and testing time for DLC is probably eight to twelve months. Of course parts of it were planned and available upon initial launch. Placing that content on the disk simply means less network bandwidth taken when the stuff is finished. The fact that they are releasing stuff every three to five months does not mean the whole company starts on the DLC a week after the game ships and sends it out twelve weeks later. There are many different teams working on many different parts of the game's systems, and they are working on many different schedules. There is a DLC #1 team. There is a DLC #2 team. There is an expansion team (November 2015!). Heck DLC #1 is probably working on DLC #3 right now, and if the expansion comes on DVD you can bet they are going to have content from it on there.
