Okay, so I was talking to a friend today, and the topic of cheating in a game came up. He thinks that cheating and cheesing fights are the same thing, while I say they're different. What's this groups opinion on the matter?
I'll post my full views later.

My opinion, if the game allows you to without using injector software like Cheat Engine, Aimbots, Walling or devmode, then go for your life. Who knows, maybe you'll break the game and it'll be funny!

They are both the same thing Imho, exploiting the game for your benefit.

Cheesing is you abusing an in-game mechanic to gain an edge over your opponents, like spamming projectile attacks in fighting games. Cheating is more along the lines of breaking the game like mods, such as making yourself invincible while everyone else is normal.

Cheese is exploiting a flaw in a games inherent code. You're not adding to it or altering what's already there, you're taking advantage of what's given to you. Low Kick Shang Tsung to Death or Clip Through a mountain. These are things that can be caught and corrected in Beta Testing. Cheating would be adding/breaking down code or performing an action outside of the game world. Unplugging power/Ethernet cable, Turbo Buttons (nostalgia) and actual hacks.
