Hello DeeJ, Before I start, I have to say I have played since Beta, and I enjoy this game regardless of all the shortfalls. This is not a rant nor a negative, shots fired post. This is genuine feedback here. I honestly believe if the DLC is not released in the early part of April, then people, if not already, will grow bored. The Vets (beta and before Dark Below players) are frustrated and more have stopped playing Destiny. The Newbies (anyone pretty much past the DLC) are most likely getting bored too. The problem is the lack of PvE content. I'm not a PvP player. Never was. And PvP players just got new content with Inferno. So no point in talking about that, regardless if the content is decent or not. Yes I haven't got all my characters to lvl 32. But I'm not even bothered with it. Because I'm disappointed in the fact that HoW is coming out Apr-June. Anything past April is just too long. Here's hoping that it will be in April. To be honest it should've been in March. But hey ho. Spilt milk and all that jazz. You know. The Necrochasm is prime example of how this game is. A lot of hype, lots of grinding, jumping through hoops to get final component. When u get (according to those who have, I don't) it, the gun you got, doesn't compensate for all the work you did, to get it. (Most likely why people don't like the gun. Just FYI). This is what will, if not already, happen when the HoW comes out. The DLC will not compensate the wait. Just bear that in mind DeeJ. Ask this simple question. Will the wait be worth the content? And once you've answered that, cause mostly you would say yes, ask very important one. Will the content keep us entertained until the next DLC in autumn? So that leads me back to what I said prior. Too long of a wait between DLCs. 3mths is ok. We were desperate in December. But 4mths or even 5/6mths!!!!!!! WOW. Can you see now? Can you see the frustrations. Can you genuinely expect someone to play this game for 6mths with no extra PvE content? Considering all the competition out there? Like I said in the beginning of the post. I am a fan of Destiny. I want to be playing this game for a long time coming. I would appreciate if those that read this, bump it up for Mr DeeJ to see when he wakes up in PST. Saying that, I should've posted this post more at 5pm GMT... Sigh. Oh well. Toodles! EDIT. After a glorious day, we have had a most wonderful discussion DeeJ. Shame we haven't heard from you. But I guess you're busy. Anywho. To make things easier I have summarised all that is below. And after all. This is constructive feedback and solutions are better than whinging. Here are some suggestions. [b]Bugs[/b]- we don't like them in RL as well as in game. So we are willing to wait if the DLC is bug free. Is this realistic? I don't think so. Hard to do as there's bugs everywhere. But let's say a minimal amount of bugs would be acceptable. So if we are to wait we would like some more [b]PvE content. [/b] Make Necrochasm better. Either add an extra clip or nerf it. Either way. People are not happy with it. New bounties to be added. Everyone wants the queen bounty again. Or similar events like that but more frequent. A 3 walker event was suggested. Sounds awesomely crazy. Eris level caps to be removed. Look at expanding her and turning her into a reputation/faction. For example getting Radiant mats with the level up with each rep. Faction rank shaders and weapons that drop when you wear faction items and weapons in crucible. Companion app to get or abandon bounties. And to possibly purchase items from the vendors and Xur as well. Some [b]DLC suggestions[/b]. Look at the economy. Why is trading off the cards? Auction house? To sell needed mats? Lift Glimmer limit. Npc merchant for us to sell all items back to. such as ships etc Being able to trade class material for another class would be appreciated. Make the Gunsmith more relevant by selling level appropriate weapons or letting us sell to him. Enabling the gunsmith to reroll present DLC guns to their post DLC values for glimmer and gun parts as Xur currently does with exotics. As much it is a MMO FPS can there be an option to opt out in matchmaking? Some would like to solo weeklies etc. The challenge of soloing Crota etc. Hopefully, that should help you out DeeJ. You don't need to scroll through everything Eh? I'm helpful like that. Hehehee
