I think it would be great if people could "loan" their weapons and armor to others. Lets say you are doing Crota Hard and someone is like "I don't have a Ghorn, or a good sniper, and I'm using the Devil You Don't". You have 2 options, kick the scrub, or give him your Ghorn for a certain amount of time or until the activity is complete! If anyone ever played Runescape a few years back you know that you could loan someone an item for what ever reason. Loaning would be a cool feature I think, if someone wanted to test out your weapon or something for PvP. Upon loaning a weapon, grimore cards will not be given to the player receiving the weapon. Bump if you think this is a cool idea! Edit 1: Loaned Items would have "Inspect" and "Return" options. Returning the item would give it back to the owner. duhhh. No Xp will be gained on loaned weapons, to avoid players from quickly upgrading weapons, by trading in bounties or whatever. Also, players with a loaned weapon cannot activate upgrades that are already available but not chosen (such as upgrade damage). The player can switch between different perks or effects, like if they wanted to compare exploding rounds on Fatebringer to not using them. Edit 2: It is clear that there would need to be a time limit on how long an item can be loaned, how many times it can be loaned to a certain person, and people would have a limit on how many times they can loan items in general. Per day of course.
