I've also followed every piece of advice Bungie has to offer so my quality equipment can communicate with their bullshit servers. I have 0 problem playing any other game, ever, so please direct your complaint to the Destiny admins next time. You can also go -blam!- yourself why your at it, you whiney piece of trash...

6 RepliesI have a Computer Networking Degree, my house is wired up by myself personally with the best off the shelf products you can buy. I'm at the mercy of who is in my area for service. I just get so frustrated when people say your connection is ghetto and so are you. I've played dozens of FPS games on XboxLive and in the end it boils down simply to Destiny and its servers or lack of servers and code. Its simply a Bandwidth hog and it needs to be optimized some how or its just going to get worse and worse. I've noticed more Lag from Christmas to this point. As for your comment get better internet or get out is there some sense of entitlement in your voice or what? We all paid for a game and we all get to suffer along with whatever is thrown at us sadly.

2 Replies2015 and still doesnt understand how peer2peer hosting works LOL. (for the delusional few out there that think nextgen is on dedicated servers, you are wrong) the main cause of redbar is high ping, not connection, ping, aka the distance said player's signal has to travel to the host and back, i could have 500down/500up with 1 ping in the EU and the host could have google fibre in the US, my ping to the host will still be over 150, probably 200 depending on wether he lives in florida or california but in this game it isnt half as bad as halo 3 was with the addition of terrible netcode. next time when you start complaining, get your sht straight

Edited by Sora Orth: 3/20/2015 2:46:37 PMLol 9/10 times in crucible if a guys lagging it's not his fault, the PVP servers are running mostly peer to peer (I still don't know why) connections and that can be quite laggy for people with a already questionable connection, and that's not counting how unstable your connection to destiny's main server is in the first place

yuuuuup. I hate going against laggers. half the time you can't help but trade off every time with them. They keep damaging you after they've died. the other half they die easy enough, but because of the delay in them actually dying their teammates can kill you while you're distracted with their lag ghost.
