I'm not sure if this theory is out there but if it isn't here you go :D So ever wondered why you are able to kill Atheon millions of times? I believe the reason we are able to do this is because the Vault of Glass is it's own pocket universe and it is going in a constant loop. Most of the evidence to support this comes from the vault weapons take Praedyth's Revenge ( sorry if I spelt that wrong ) the description says: "Praedyth's fall isn't over yet... Because it hasn't happened yet... But it will again...". Also the shield I think is a very interesting thing, Kabr used the last of his light to forge it. If this loop is to happen Kabr has to keep dying. So basically the vault loop has to start from Kabr's team getting inside... This could be possible because Kabr's team was the first to breach the vault so it would make sense for the loop to start there. I'm now starting to think that I'm going too far in... Wait... I'm reading through grimoire cards and maybe... I think Kabr is part of Atheon or is Atheon. After all he did say that if he spoke again he wasn't Kabr. That could be why Atheon cant just send us back in time to get instantly killed also that's why the aegis shield keeps respawning in the portals because they are replaced by Kabr's soul? I don't know. I have gone too far I'll continue when I make sense out of this.
