A few pointers: 1. Use the buddy system, always! If you do not have friends available, find out who's dominating on your squad. He'll show you the routes and it's a lot harder to kill two of you, than one. A team of two good killers can hold-down a zone or ambush a team of three or four easily. Another good decision, staying with your squad from zone to zone. Like our clan, we don't not like to get separated. If you do get killed, find your squad or buddy immediately. 2. Do not run in like you're superhero cause you're not! Be cautious and approach the fight where you have the advantage. And never just run into a room - either jump or slide, always! 3. Never, ever chase a guy down around a corner. Trust me, he's buying time to grab his shotgun. Move on. One teammate WILL see him from a distance and get the kill. 4. Assists are great! The game is about kills. When you die, your adversary gains momentum towards the goal, winning, You job as a teammate is not to die. Take the assist, or give the kill to an ally like mentioned above. Be smart and just don;t die. 5. Run! Don't ever go into battle hurt. If your hurt and the target landed a few shots on you, RUN!! Trust me. There's no shame in running from the battle. What normally happens is you will run by an ally and they will get the kill because they're concentrated on you. Run, hide, recover and go back for more with full health. Never go to battle with damage. 6. Speed and recovery attributes. The crucible is all about "head-hunting" and armor does not matter enough to take into consideration. I always looked at the armor rating for your helmet is just that when it comes to head shots, very minimal at best. 7. Be a hunter! 8. Get a Thorn or Last Word and shot from the hip. Side note: The latest buff did very little on the Thorn's range and I can still take-out dudes from the across the map. (Thanks Bungie). 9. Hard-wired connection. Never play crucible with a wireless connection. Your connection affects gameplay. Every second counts. There's always a bit of lag from encounter to encounter. What you're trying to gain is a steady stream of data with consistent results. If you feel slow, back-off and let the connection catch-up. (This can be determined when you are swapping your weapons. Sometimes, I can spot a notable difference with the speed of a weapon swap. Call me goofy, but I can. ) 10. Have fun! This is the most important element. If you're not having fun, there's no reason to play. I learned these from another Guardian and it helped significantly, Also, it's a work in progress. Your k/d won't rise overnight, but with some effort you will see positive results in about 20-50 matches. Hope this helps.

If you've been playing on your Titan and using that Payback SOS, that's your problem. Auto Rifles with no impact and a very high rate of fire have never been very effective in Crucible and only got worse with the recent weapon update. Try an auto rifle with high impact like Vanquisher VIII, SUROS Regime or Abyss Defiant. Or if you're comfortable with Handcannons, any of them will kill with 3 headshots and some with only 2 if they have the right perks. Thorn & The Last Word are pretty much guaranteed two headshot kills due to buggy perks. And since you're already using a Titan, make sure you have Shoulder Charge and a Shotgun equipped. Titans are close quarters masters. You'll probably get a lot of hate for using that set up but it's only logical when your class is built for it. Just don't rush people head-on. Look for firefights in progress and flank people. Also, now that heavy ammo drops less often, you might be better off with a Rocket Launcher for Crucible. Just get some quick kills with rockets and go back to using your other weapons. Machine guns might hold more ammo but unless you've got one with great stability, they're almost not worth using.

You barely have played PvP.. Payback SoS is kinda meh...does shoot bullets but their are better bullets... Grab a shotty like everyone else.. Felwinters Lie galore..lol.. If you don't have one or a decent roll go with "Found Verdict" .. Use machine guns if possible.. If you do, try and sit back.. Wait it out for abit.. Don't go all Rambo the second you get heavy.. sit back, let the dogs fight it out for a minute.. Afterwards with your heavy don't go in tight quarters, have a good view of your enemy and you'll almost always win the gun battle.. Use... Jolders Hammer.. Against All Odds.. Deviant Gravity.. one of these guns (may have missed one)..hopefully with Field Scout seeing as heavy ammo is now far a fewer in the Crucible..

Your Auto Rifle is one of the lowest impact guns in the game. This is part of the issue. The second issue I see is that you are not running Fitted Stock on the gun.

Simple Khvostov and Silimars Wrath But saying that most high rate fire and low impact are great so it must be your play style or maybe you have not sussed out how to handle the recoil - shoot a wall and find out what it is upwards (Silimars) , sideways (Shadow Price), Khvostov (all over the friggin place), Vanquisher (none and dull as fick), Clean sweep (annoyingly auto aims to right of head). Maybe you are walking straight ahead or standing still when shooting with a recoiling gun - not good - sideways semi circle, aim at head and keep right stick pulled back to control recoil to keep head locked. Exception is Unwilling Soul (dead orbit) that is truly awful.

Might be internet connection? And make sure you do that rapid "left right left right" movement all the annoying players use.

Improve your aim. You provably play on a 10 sensitivity to fit in with your Call of Duty friends. This game has a shield system like Halo's. This game requires a nice aim to take down players in Crucible. Turn down your sensitivity. That might help. Or you can just use a shotgun like "those people" do.

Use fitted stock on your auto rifle, it'll make it much easier to handle, use armor piercing on your sniper. You have the final round perk so that's an insta kill if you know how to aim. Please change your shader on your titan, as well as his chest piece, that thing looks like shit.

Anything but a Mythoclast, Last Word or Hawkmoon won't get you anywhere

It's because your Titan looks hideous and your clan name is crap.

The payback SOS is horrid in PvP and PvE. High ROF and Low Impact, ew.
