should xur sell legendary items?
Should xur start selling legendary items at about 10 strange coins or motes of light?
These items Im talking about would be weapons that are factionless and look like those common white weapon guns, but they are legendary. and have desirable perks on them like firefly, full auto, etc.
he also sell legendary engrams at a cost of ascendant mats or some other material thats hard to come by. about 30 mats for one armor engram and 50 for a weapon engram. Turning them in to the cryptarch should always be a legendary weapon or armor, or exotic legendary or armor.
anyone agree?

edit2: these legendaries could have perks that cant happen on normal legendaries. like firefly on a pulse or auto and explosive on a pulse or auto rifle.
also as suggested that legendary armor that xur sells should be on par with raid and exotic gear. but they should be hard to get and look unique for unique customizations for out gaurdians right?
edit3: perhaps rerolling current legendaries like iron banner?

The gunsmith should be able to reroll Vanguard and Crucible Weapons and Armor. Factional vendors should have the option as well. A combination of Motes, Glimmer, Commendations, and/or all of those useless Weapons Parts and Ascendants would be sufficient for Currency and Materials. He should also sell Engrams, less Greens and more Blues, including Legendary once you've ranked him up via Dismantling, buybacks, and tailored bounties.

Get strange coins and STOP running through strikes. Your chances of getting legendary engrams is almost zero if you don't actually kill the enemies.

I would prefer the gunsmith reforge legendary weapons for commendations.

1 ReplyI personally think it would be a better idea to give each of the faction vendors a unique looking set of armor and have it so you can spend vanguard or crucible marks for them, as it stands right now you have 1 vendor for PvE, and 5 for PvP.

No. Just no. Xur is exotic. Weapons can be bought from the vendors. They just need to "re-stock" every so many hours/days/week. Re-stock in the way of perks and elements. That would help. And maybe more vendors but i think that will come with HoW if the reef social area is real.

He should only sell legendarys. Ones you can only get from him, and a lot of them so they can have a large cycle.

Hopefully if this second tower is legit, it will come with more vendors and different things to purchase (legendary sparrows and ships to buy would be nice)
