New players stop playing after lvl20

Hello fellow guardians. When i started to play Destiny, TLD was just comming out and my buddy already had the game telling me that he only could reach lvl20 and he had to buy dlc to get beyond that level. So i started playing with the mindset on lvl20 and that would the end of it. After i done the missions and later on upgrading my purple gear i found out that this actually wasnt the end. So i kept playing and this mission pops up Vault of Glass and i had NO idea what to do with it. So after couple of painfull days i found out that i needed to reach out other guardians through websites, mobile apps etc. After that i realised that this whole game is made to play with other people. Set up fire teams and kick hive butt. I think Bungie is losing allot of players during just the beginning of the game because of lack on good intel. There should be a ingame matchmaking on raids or something similiar to that. Just so the new players that dont have fixxed teams just can get up and start some raids. Without going through weeks of being a complete muppet on Venus wiping vex for glimmer

  • bungie never even puts a disclaimer or anything on how much you have to go out and find your own partners to play the only end game Pve content.

In game matchmaking on raids is a frequent request. Note that the #feedback forums are a great way to send requests and comments in. It. Is a forum the developers do read! I'll move your post over there. Just to weigh in, from my perspective - for every post requesting matchmaking, there are two talking about the poor quality of matchmade teams in the game. Raids require a fairly significant level of coordination. I'm not sure if matchmaking on raids is a great idea (again, my personal perspective - you are of course entitled to your opinion!) For now, keep jumping on the #recruitment forums for all your raid group needs!
