BUMP BUMP BUMPITY BUMP. I have the same problem!!!

I'm starting to think that the 'weasel' error is caused by someone IP booting: just finished another HoW Crucible Clash match where the top scorer from the opposing team in the game decided to teabag me half-way through the match (probably because I was shoulder charging, but whatevs: I almost never use it and was getting in some practice, because I suck at shoulder charging ;P). So of course, every time I killed him I started doing it back to him, and I'd go out of my way to try to shoulder charge him, or shut down his super with Fist of Panic, and tea bag him every time, because hey, if he wants to diss me after shooting me in the face with a shotgun, I'm certainly going to reciprocate. ;) Sure enough, game ends, we win and suddenly before the rewards page or scoreboard shows up, I get weaseled and it takes me a good long time to get back into the game: my internet connection, XBL, etc. are all perfectly fine. Not to mention there were some people who were lagging all over the place in the game, which made it hard to kill them, but they could just be having a bad connection. My connection, surprisingly and for once, was actually green all the way through the game. Who knows, maybe it was the host, but that still doesn't rule out that son of a gun who was teabagging. I only seem to weasel error in Crucible, as others have pointed out: my connection seems fine for pretty much all PvE activities. /puts tinfoil hat on P.S. I would add that the teabagger in question was already back in Crucible, playing, when I managed to finally get back into Destiny. I find that highly suspicious, to be honest: if everyone was kicked from the game, I would expect they would have taken about the same amount of time to get back into the game as I did.

I feel your pain and believe, as many others do, that the issue is not all on our side. When Destiny first came out, I never had any problems. I would hear about others getting errors, and think that I was lucky not to have any. Then after the Dark Below was released, I have had constant problems. On a frequent basis I will get Baboon, Elk, Weasel, Caterpillar, and Elderberry. I am NOT on a mobile device or hotspot. I have the faster wireless service my internet carrier provides. I too have noticed that it always happens under certain circumstances. When I am traveling from the Steppes into the Divide, right as I'm going from the building into the Divide, it will freezing and I'll get a 'loading' message. Sometimes I will continue, but a lot of times my screen will go black and here comes the Baboon, Weasel or whatever. If I try to change characters or look at my inventory when traveling to a destination from orbit. I have no problems with any computer in my home streaming videos or doing anything else on the internet. I have no problems with other games on my PS4 or PS3 that require online connections. I have tried to assign a static IP to the PS4, port forwarding, dmz enabled, etc. etc. to no avail. ONLY WITH DESTINY!!!!!

Non stop weasel is making me insane, everything is fine on my end, NAT type is open, hard wired, had very few weasels before this past Saturday and now it's like I have a disease or curse every time I play destiny. Other games work fine online, like cod which sucks that I have to even play at all because destiny won't work like it always has for me, hope this gets fixed soon or I'll spam as much hate every place I can think of

I really thought I was the only one with this problem! I've checked my network connection which unsurprisingly is completely fine I can't do any missions at all, as soon as I set off somewhere I'm kicked off back to orbit! Very close to completing a strike, kicked off. I keep getting loads of different error codes, and as you say it's ridiculous for them to try and say it's our connection I've spent time and money on this game and if it doesn't get sorted soon I will not be continuing playing, not impressed :/

This only happens to me when I play crucible. When it does happen I must reset my entire Xbox in order to get connected to Xbox live, and sometimes it makes my xbox forget my wifi. So I must put the code again and pray that it does not tell me my password is wrong. if it does that i must reset my Xbox a second time. Sometimes I even have to reset my home internet because of error code Weasel. Bungie I love you guys, but I must say that if your servers cause peoples internet to go down its a big problem, and is very irresponsible.

Okay, glad I stumbled on this (a little late tho) . I too recently have been inundated with the weasel code. I enjoy buying a product and letting it do it's magic, however this has not been the case. I have recently become an expert on diagnosing my xbox one, router, line coming into my house and ISP provider. (Btw, hours of days wasted only to think the recent gamut of tests and resets will fix the issue only to have this false satisfaction broken by Weasel code. I have replaced my router, and xbox one, the only thing that is the same is the ISP. In short... A big+1 on Get This Fixed.

This has been happening to me for a while now as well I wanna say since December. I always need to restart my Xbox to get xbl back up, or do anything period. I thought that it might be the fact that my Nat wasn't open but I've fixed this today by enabling upnp and port forwarding my Xbox. However I'm still getting hit with these weasels . This always seems to happen when I'm playing the game and in an xbl party at the same time. The only explanation I have left is potential EM interference from an LCD smart tv sitting 2 feet from my router. I'll have to move my router and wait to be struck by the filthy rodent again.

The same thing happens to me, like I've made a network just for my xbox so this doesn't happen. Each time my little brother loads up clash of clans, it boots me offline and I get this error code

Happens to me for ps3. This some bull.

Glad to know I'm not the only running into this problem... Became a problem the last 2 weeks. Was about to call my internet provider, but it didn't seem to be an issue on their end. Bungie please let us know if this is a priority error code as it seems to be one of the worst (having to do a full reboot of system and network).
