UPDATE This appears to be a ShareFactory issue: https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/12852 Hey everyone, We're sorry to hear you're all having this issue. Please let us know if you have you attempted the following: Closed down Destiny, shut off the console, and restart the console and game? Ensured you have a wired connection? Clear your cache by shutting down the console, unplugging it for ten minutes and plugging it back in? Powercycle the router by unplugging for 1 minute and plugging it back in? Additionally, do you have a disc or digital copy of the game? Some players (like albertcjae) have mentioned that there is a "Destiny Shareplay" program sitting in the download list and that removing it resolves this issue. Have you encountered this issue?

I know this is really really late to the party and all, but I'm having a similar issue right now. I haven't seen the installing files screen loop yet, but that's because it only loads 0.01 gbs every couple of minutes. I'm currently stuck at 38% completion. I've read this thread and looked in my notifications and then downloads, but I don't have any Destiny Shareplay program installed or queuing up to be downloaded. EDIT: Solved the issue by switching to a wired internet connection.

          •
I AM RECEIVING A LOOPING UPDATE INSTALL NOTIFICATION AND CANNOT LAUNCH DESTINY ON MY PLAYSTATION 4.
Bungie is aware of this issue and they are investigating. Users are reporting that this issue occurs when downloading a Destiny Share Play theme when they have not installed the Share Play program to their PS4. If this is the situation you are in, you can resolve this issue by navigating to your Notifications > Download List and delete the Destiny Share Play Theme from your list, and then launch Destiny.
