I don’t understand what Bungies infatuation is with the power delta system is. Having to be -50 under power to get +1 gear is ridiculous. It’s not fun and very time consuming. I feel like a high percentage runs of -50 or higher are going to end up failing the activity and not even getting rewarded. Bungie is stuck in this way of thinking that we have to be miserable and have to go through the hardest -blam!- content to get better gear. They have forgotten what it means to have fun gaming and it shows.

They don't know how to make mechanics interesting. So level is the solution

intentional design the players that endured the entire grind are the most addicted, so they punish you even more for even more wasted time they don't care about your fun, they just care about training/enforcing your addictive tendencies and preying upon them

Edit: As pointed out in other topics, the 15% Activity Score Boost unlocked during the previous Reward Pass does apply to Portal scoring. This was an oversight on my part, and the above information can be ignored. My apologies. • At Grandmaster difficulty at least, the Equipment Lock Player Stake remains the default selection in the Loadout Restriction slot, despite having its four point Challenge Multiplier reduced to 2 points with today’s update. That said you can swap to a Loadout Restriction Stake with a higher multiplier when customizing the chosen Activity, as there are now several new four point options in the slot, as well as a single five point option.
