Dear Bungie (developers, community managers, tech support and other people
who are able to receive some feedback from the gamers community)!
This message goes from numerous large communities of Destiny 2 players.
The issue I want to mention does not affect solo players as well as small clans presented mostly
by closest friends, but it makes life very difficult for large communities of 100+ people.
We ask you to expand the number of clan slots to 500(+) people for each clan. This minor change would greatly
simplify the process of recruiting new active players and getting rid of of inactive ones.
Also an increased clan capacity would help newbies to join large active communities,
where they would feel themselves more confident and comfortable with exploring Destiny 2's ingame
world and make some new friends.
It would also be great if you could add a feature that would allow us to compare clans by certain criteria.
For example, the number of hours spent in the game per week. This option would help players to choose
communities that are more active.
With respect and gratitude, this message comes from the Russian-speaking clans

I completely agree with all of this. Disappointing to not see a clan called 'Rush B' though :/
-
Next to this I would also love to see a system where helping other players is rewarded more. Guided games giving special tokens to get special items. And more guided game modes also for crucible.
-
Not going to lie here, but I’d rather they first improve the game itself before considering any changes to the clan structure. Too many other fixes are needed to just keep the game alive. The game is on life support and barely hanging on right now.
-
2 RepliesI don't think this is even needed. You can just use discord.

2 RepliesCan u guys please stop lagging in crucible? Tnx

This s**t has near 500 upvotes? must be all the people from that clan lol, i don't think anyone else cares about this at all.

1 ReplyThe only thing you can do in mass to help this game is to all boycott playing for weeks. There is no post articulate enough for Bungie to care, it's been tried for years. Basic balancing issues we've had have existed since the prior game. They have no intention of changing it how we would like it. Not playing to what the consumers want should be biting them in the ass.

Seeing all these clowns joking about russians makes me sick of these people. Let`s write some objective criticism and opinions about this post

5 RepliesFirst they need to make clans actually serve a purpose.

Clans are broken on a large scale, oh what’s that, there’s no matchmaking for the other three Leviathan raids? Only Crown of Sorrow! Why Bungie, I just want to do all of the raids, you let people like myself, who don’t have Forsaken or Shadowkeep, play strikes from those DLC’s in the REGULAR strike playlist. Bungie, it’s either have everything free or lock everything behind a paywall. You can get only one Jokers Wild exotic, just one, you also can’t get Malfeasance despite being able to kill the Meatball Boss in Gambit. Bungie, what is the point. It’s either make everything nice and organized and accessible to all players or don’t. I have an Ace of Spades Ornament and I don’t even have Forsaken, what is the point of that ornament if I don’t have the DLC! Come on Bungie, just listen to the players, not the “GOOD” streamers who only do custom made challenges on stream that seem hard yet only make their strategy easy. Bungie, you are listening to liters and heretics, get your act together Bungie before your player base breaks you! ~ Sincerely Every Reasonable Destiny 1/2 player.

Agreed. My clan has 5 divisions with almost 500 people as well. I would like clan size expanded.
-
1 Reply98 people went to my clan and I don’t want to create another one with number 2, why you can’t just increase the number of participants

1 ReplyEdited by Demon_XXVII: 2/7/2020 5:31:50 PMThe problem with clans 100 is enough .... many folk get lost inside a large clan, & this Y3 of Destiny2 has so far been a huge killer for the gamerbase (IMO, personally I find a clan works when everyone can have a laugh & acknowledges each other, jumps into fireteams, party chats, plays for what it is - an intuitive FPS shooter - a bloomin game! (Not a second job Bungie!), we luckily we have no internal cliquey bullshite) The “new light” concept has been a failure - the majority of “NL” players just play the free stuff, no intention of paying for anything, thus making them ‘excluded’ from running the dlc content (shallow that it is) - then they get bored, stop playing & leave (not caring because they never were that invested) Then the flip side I have a fairly active clan, (small, but great - many serving, working offshore, busy lives etc) & for the ones that have disappeared due to the ‘expiring seasons’ It’s majorly because of the game - they took the FOMO concept & said “Fvck that” - why pay for something that they might not get chance to play ? Then the nerfs, The ridiculous Artefact (Weapon/Armour Mod) constraints every 3 months, & the busy work grind Year 3 has been (IMO) a bloomin’ disaster ...epic fail ....ShallowKeep was so short, the Season of Undying was atrocious (with the exception of the additional public event invasions - should utilise them everywhere!) And now Dawn - to leave the greatest true warrior Titan in the Tower as a vendor with just 4 Bounties - is an insult - at least some of the bounties should have been pinnacle bounties for the hardcore ‘let’s prestige’ everything (Flawless Raids/NF/Hunts/Strikes/Menagerie/Dungeons/Seasonal Heroic Events etc), chained precise carnage/kills, sheer ‘Hero/Stylish MoFo’ “I’ve got this” moments in PvE, Gambit & Crucible) Basically @Bungie, you gone and fvcked it up! It desperately needs a Taken King/Forsaken expansion .....just a shame that the the lead for Forsaken (& her team) has left the company ....(how come it’s always the good ones that leave & the stale, unqualified charlatans that stay for the doughnuts!)

Clans aren’t commercial entities. Also there must be <1% of the clans with more than 100 active players. With 99% of the clans having max 8 active players. Let’s try to get some content and fixes rather than promoting and supporting commercial activity of joblessers through the game.
-
A clan is a small tight knit group of people. 100 is enough.
-
So you want to commercialize clans?
-
We dont need more clandestine or clan space. I mean we do but it's not a pill for the problem destiny has. Create ways in game for matchmaking and regular mode content that doesnt require watching 10 videos and 30 minute encounter explanations and special load outs so all players can do all the pve content. Leave the challenge activities or harder versions of modes to pre made fireteams or folks clanning up on discord servers or lfg. All people..well most folks want is load into an activity have the appropriate number of people to engage and complete it. And get something shiny at the end.
-
4 RepliesAnother feature to unite players is cross-play.
-
CHEEKY BREEKY INTENSIFIES!
-
5 RepliesSo instead of 100 people to search through for inactivity, now you want 500 to scroll through? Inactive is inactive whether it's 100 or 500. 😉
-
9 RepliesSpeaking as a solo player, I think larger clan space would cause people asking for larger team modes and cause us solo players to go to other games
