I Have played this on and off over the years and the way the community has become is laughable. People complain about cash shops yet, if you do the activities in game you can get the bright engrams to get them. *Is that not the point of the game even if you do need a little help from Rngesus*
People complain when you have to pay for DLC content which to me is no different then paying for an expansion *WoW* Comes to mind. Swtor you pay a sub fee if you want to unlock certain aspects of the game. They may not be as big but your also not paying 60 dollars.
I have recently switched to the PC and while it is not the best game in the world I do have fun doing strikes with my friends, grinding out patrols and events.

Love the game. My thoughts of what destiny was going to be changed back in year 1 when crota dropped.., I just knew they did not have the team to give us the game we wanted. This is fine and I can understand the hate, but it is what it is and nobody else has done it better yet.

3 RepliesPlease stop.....ppl like you make them think it's okay for this shit content we get....'sweet loot' or you will have so much loot you wont know what to do with it....i know what to do with it and the lack of content throw it away
-
2 Repliesthankfully the forum is a small portion of the player base and it's views do not represent the views of majority. (although dome seem to think it does)

Destiny has always been a game that's improved over time. People complained this much about vanilla Destiny (although admittedly it was a content problem back then rather than an eververse problem) and after the second expansion things improved significantly. Im holding out hope that something similar will happen again with this second expansion. Say what you will about Bungie but one thing will always be true, they do listen to their community.

i am enjoying the game Sir

I like it I just wish I could play the multiplayer pats. Being forced onto a solo server because of my latency ( Have to use Satellite Internet because of where I live) sucks. Cant do Public events, crucible etc. Unless someone will let me on their fireteam. Bungie never made this fact known when I bought the game
-
The problem is this game is actually less than the sum of its parts. Brilliant bits of set piece action but once the shooting stops you're very aware of how those bits don't string together.
-
There is a reason if losers needs a pity pat, after all
-
I most definitely agree.
-
I enjoy the game and I do have fun but I do agree with a lot of the criticisms it gets. But most of the things I dislike the most is how bungie behaves as a whole ignoring the community, throttling exp, increasing the exp needed to earn a engram, things not being play tested properly ex promethus lens 3 of coins, 100% of the sparrows ships and ghosts earned through eververse
-
Yup, played D1 since day one and about a week after D2 came out I started on that, I get a lot of the issues my main being three of coins not working properly and having to spend 250 legendary shards on Rahool but it's one of the few games all my friends play together, I don't mind the grind and yeah Osiris was a bit short but everything else that has come and will come with following updates will make it better, I remember D1 being a lump of coal that became a gem so the same will happen with this eventually
-
Sure! I like it a lot! There’s a lot of salt in the forums and Reddit because that’s the cool thing to do. And there are some serious issues that need to be fixed, but at its core, it’s a great game.
I Have played this on and off over the years.....
Casuals and their love for the game .. SMH.

I like the game, but it needs an overhaul. I'm starting to get to the point where it goes from being fun to the realization that things are just getting worse and worse. How they went about the dawning wasn't the best choice in the current state of the game, most of the items shouldn't have to be locked behind a rng loot box. Just my 2 cents
-
2 Replies*checks how many friends are playing D2* Yep. Apparently it's just you.
-
I still enjoy it. The nergal pr4 doesnt like me
-
No, it's a trash App Store game
-
I guess I just don't sweat it. I've reached the end of my day, crack a cold one and run a mission or finish some weekly stick. Actually ran part 1 of the saint 14 quest. It was just me, took my time, took in the scenery, got goosebumps for I hadn't died yet and I knew I was nearing the end. Had a blast, got a new exotic and a bright. Finished a dawning thing got a pretty cool looking ship. When have glimmer to burn new shader though. Logged off for it was time for dinner. Great night, had fun, isn't that what were supposed to do.

I like it but i only play Strikes since i suck at PvP. I can sit for hours just playing Strikes.
-
1 ReplyEarning bright engrams to get gear and stuff that other people just buy has no way the sense of achievement or excitement that strike specific drops and exotic drops in D1 had...
-
1 ReplyThe problem is the amount of items locked behind a paywall, that were used to be earned through completing activities. Bungie them try to incentivise you to buy bright engrams because of how long it actually takes to level up. People are complaining about the DLC because its a joke. With the amount of content it has it should be free, especially considering all the reskins and the fact they couldnt even come up with new strikes but just reused story missions

I like it but that is the problem; I LIKE this game, but I LOVED the previous one, and my interest in this game is diminishing, particularly after recent corporate malpractice and the huge focus on microtransactions.
-
I want to like it and wish I could but when I log on I just kinda stare blankly at the menu and wonder why I should do anything, it was a fun game for what it was but I'll never even get a quarter of the time out of it that I did in destiny 1
