Raids too hard.
It seems like everything about bungee is geared toward 5% of the players. The elites. And if you're lucky enough for them to carry you through the raids, skolas, or trials, you will be able to level up. If you don't know any elite players you're going to be stuck for 6 months to a year. Normal mode should be for normal gamers. Let hardmode be impossible for the freaks who play 10 hours a day.
Edit: if you or your team used a professional gamers youtube guide to beat any raids, then please don't attack my post.. because you're only making my point..
The best players in the world are the ones who figured out how to beat the Raids and the Prison for us. 95% of the players didn't figure them out on their own and could not figure them out on their own.

1 ReplyI havent completed the new one due to the fact it always takes a long time to reach oryx due to explaining to newcomers what to do in the raid or ppl quitting. If I had the time I could complete it. Ill eventually get it done im in no rush.

There are enough people who know how to do it now. It is easy. I went through it first as a 296 noob. Then with 2 other characters that I super ranked to 280. I had zero issues at 280 once I knew what I was doing. Tip. This is a teamwork raid. If you have someone constantly falling out of line, boot them. Can't do a 6 man raid when 1 or more are unwilling to listen, cooperate, and do their jobs. And, if you are the one not listening, please understand....your frustration is another person's time wasted due to your incompetence. Reasons I complete my raids with people who follow directions before I try and help people who dont.

2 RepliesScrew the raid, what's the point in trying to get to over 295 light lvl just to get into the raid? I know just so when you get one flippin invite after 3 different attempts over three days...you get kicked after sitting there while the jacka$$ gets a full team together. I'm done trying.

7 RepliesSurely i'm wrong but sounds like you just called me a freak for no reason... If the game is too hard then try a different game. Just because YOU can't complete these activities doesn't mean others can't - or that all of the game should be made easier to fit your skill level.

1 ReplyIn my experience, with three clears a week, the raid is simple. I dont play ridiculously and I have no problems with it. I dont even have a set raid team. Seeing all these people with such issues is crazy to me. I guess I'm in the minority because the whole raid usually takes at most an hour and a half.

Just find a group to bond with in the community. Learn and struggle through things together to figure things out. That's part of the experience and how the game works. I admit the raid was hard as hell the first time my clan went through it and it took us quite a few attempts and hours upon hours till we finally got it down, but once we did we understood the roles each person had to take to make sure that we'd come out on top. Sadly this game works in the way that it wants you to work around it's schedule and not your own. If players can't put in the time and work like those "elite" players, then they're gonna be in for a bumpy year. Things wont be impossible, it'll just take more time. But like I said, if people are able to find that group to bond and get closer with, things become more fun and easier and less stressful. Lastly, I think everyone is able to be the "best players" in the world. I don't see anything different from my clan and Broman's clan (first to beat King's Fall) in terms of raiding other than they planned and got together to try to be world's first. The ones who figured out how to beat the raids are the ones who had a group of friends and were willing to go hours straight until they were first or of the first to beat it. Anyone has the capability of doing that, it just comes down to "can you put in the time", and if not then take it slow. Anyways, have a good Year 2 and hope RNGsus is on your side.

4 RepliesHow about you just look up information (YouTube raid videos) about raid bosses and shit, look up for a group that's at your level or higher and do it. It ain't hard, LFG helps you too.

1 ReplyI'm not sure if this is sarcastic or what, but destiny is geared towards team work. This raid can't be done by 2 ppl carrying the other 4. All 6 actually have to do their part. Trials is all about teamwork and communication. Ya, trials is not easy. It actually takes strategy and skill. If you're a normal pvp player and you can just run around like an idiot w a shot gun, that doesn't work in trials.

It's geared towards teamwork - ppl don't have to be 300 Ppl need to work together - all 6 It's geared towards making REAL connections with people . It's also geared towards all or none so if one person thinks they can slack off everyone dies .

If everything is able to be done easily, then why the hell even make a game? I enjoy the raid, i enjoy the difficulty. 8 RepliesSo what you're saying is there's a few "elite" gamers that make guides on how to beat stuff. Then you say the 5% that used the "elite" guides are also elite. This raid is probably the easiest of all the raids. There is only 1 real boss where your level comes into play for a dps check and that's oryx. The only thing you have to be able to do for this raid is work as a team and be able to jump and shoot a big glowy thing. The reason only 5% of players have completed it is that people thing they can't do The raid because there's some mindset that you have to be mlg pro to complete it. Bungie did an amazing job at this raid because for once you can beat it with pretty much any weapons, of course snipers, lmgs, and scouts are favored, but there's no "must have gally bs". This raid was made to be challenging in the sense that you need all 6 players to cooperate and work together instead of be amazing killing machines like the confluxes/oracles and the death singer. People who say the raid is too hard have either not tried it or need to find a new team, the reason the elite players make guides is so everyone can understand the mechanics and complete the raid.

So learn it, get on destiny lfg, find a team and beat it or don't play it. All the resources are out there for you to use and they are simple enough to use. Whether you choose to use them is your choice but don't try to take away from a game because you don't want to put forth the effort to beat it
