Past three days I've been lfg for crota for seven hours
-
1) join a clan 2) destinylfg.com destinyteamfinder.com destinytracker.com (go to chat) 3) add players who you raid with every time you raid. I used to have the same problems as you, these three things made it so I have to keep my games on invite only or I have tons of people joining at unwanted times.

2 RepliesIf you are just spamming invites in the tower you are going to have little luck. You need to send an actual message not an invite. Sending an invite tells me nothing about what a random is interested in doing. The message needs to be detailed similar to what you would get on destinylfg How many in your group Type and weapon upgrade status How many vault/Crota clears Also it is pretty simple to get to 31 and if you are not there you are going to be the kid that gets picked last for dodgeball. If nearly everyone is 31 looking and you are not you are not going to be considered.

This would be a good use for the post master... Send a message to all players in the tower from the postmaster regarding what you need (select from a list of options to avoid weird messages/harassment and maybe a time limit of some sort to avoid spam from a single player). Just a thought

1 ReplyI always say I need 2 more, no matter how many I need. I also mention I am a level 31 sunsinger with a maxed out Gjallarhorn. I always get about 10+ requests. I do agree that there should be some sort of in game LFG. There are too many 3rd party sources.

3 RepliesIf you were on xbox1 Id say add me. We have a group that raids regularly and we're always happy throw more in the mix. I'll be watching tv and see destiny icons pop up for invites and messages. The recruitment side of these forums are usually always responsive. Though I'll admit to feeling your pain for a bit when I was 29 looking for hard VoG.

6 RepliesSame here. I've been spamming party/game invites to everyone in the tower for a few days looking for either vault or crota, not a single soul joins. Oh well. I don't really have much intent on beating the crota raid anyway when they are going to sell better gear in the tower vendors in three months, but I like to try to do vault for exotics.

1 ReplyI've noticed in Recruitment: If you say you're looking for 1 or 2, you'll get 4-5 requests. If you say you're looking for 4 or 5, you'll get 0-1 requests. If you say you're looking for 3, you may get 1-3 people to join.

I've been having a hard time finding CE team also. I am on 360 if anyone wants to become raiding buddies. I prefer to hold the cheese when running raids. I enjoy them more without cheese. Anyway, my gamer is same as post.
