Does anyone else want a forge type area in destiny? Obviously in an open world game it would be hard to implement such a thing but maybe have a blank area of the world or a planet that's all blank with nothing but flat land where players can go and finish that part of the world or planet any way they want using forge type features? I think it would be pretty cool, but if its not already in the game i doubt it can be added this late in development, but I would personally love it. Anyone else want some sort of forge type feature where they can make whatever they want in the world?

I think this would work best in the private world, like when an area is switching between public and private they might be able to incorporate some type of blank area that is probate in which you could build and explore

1 ReplyMaybe guardians can be placed in a holohraphic simulator where they can train. That would explain how multiplayer works.

1 ReplyYes for player home customization with an updated forge ENGINE!!!!

1 ReplyYEss. I think it would be great to be able go to some planet or some world whatever u may call it. And be able to create your own little peace of destiny for others to explore.

1 ReplyI think they could do it for the arena. If a certain faction has control over the area a player from that faction gains the ability to change or create an alternate map.
-
Maybe for "The Arena", if there is going to be one, so the maps won't be the same every time we play.

1 Replyi've already said this on a few other threads, but I feel like its relevant here- some kind of weapon creator in Destiny. like forge but for guns

2 Replieswouldn't fit with a game like Destiny. Maybe they could try to introduce it in a different form, like you use your in game money (like the budget in Halo) to buy each item and you design a clan base or outpost.

11 Replies...there would be no need whatsoever.

Would be good for making custom multiplayer maps, other than that forge would get abused by trolls

I think it would be a cool feature to have if the competitive aspect works similar to how it does in the Halo games. Otherwise though, as much as I love forge, I wouldn't see a point to it.

I feel like it wouldn't fit well, as cool as the idea may sound.
