Some follow-up from my previous feedback.
I'm experimenting and testing counter perks and guard.
My conclusions:
1. Guard needs a .5 sec delay BEFORE it uses energy.
Meaning you can always proc your guard for counter perks... You have unlimited guard potential for .5 secs at a time.
2. Counter perks should proc from ANY dmg received when guarding, not just melee dmg.

1 ReplyThe biggest problem with swords is how risky they are to use. I don’t think the reward merits the risk. To add to that, in gms they’re impossible to use against bosses because bosses just stomp you. I would actually add a parry system to swords that allows them to stun bosses for a rapost like in Souls games.
