If I remember most of the Fromsoft devs (The ones that we've seen play anyways) struggled with Elden and Dark souls. Obviously there were ones who were good but being a dev doesn't = ultimate god like skills.

To be fair though: if you aren't struggling with a FromSoft game then they haven't done their job.
