Deprecating legendary shards
So with final shape you are deprecating legendary shards. The problem I have with this is there is nothing to spend the legendary shards on except glimmer and rally flags. I am never low enough on glimmer usually at the cap and I have 700 or so rally banners. Ultimately I'm just going to lose 43000 legendary shards for nothing. I feel that it was a waste of time accumulating this many shards by playing this game. Thank you

If there is nothing to spend them on, why do you care if you lose them ? If you accumulated that many, you were not using them in the first place , but just like hoarder syndrome, you only care about it because it's being taken away , even though it serves no purpose -
“Accumulated by playing the game” Yeah by doing the shard glitches that were up regularly, spending hours getting thousands of shards by doing a simple glitch. Had plenty of clan members who did them, they got 5-10k at a time from them. And the point is? I never needed more than the regular ones from playing. Go buy phantasmal fragments if you need to get rid of 43k, or don’t. Either way do something.

Shards have been redundant for ages anyway the majority of players don't actually care they are going away. I'm personally indifferent to them going away it's just one less thing I need to think about.

If there's nothing to spend them on it means that they are worthless. Anyone that has been playing this game for years has passively amassed a large amount of them. It's been literally impossible to spend them. Enhancement cores should also be dealt with.

2 RepliesGo to the moon and buy whatever resource Rahool accepts for glimmer. I forget what it’s called but there’s no cap on how many you can buy. Also Raid banners at Hawthorne. You’ll have a massive glimmer replacement resource.

The others are saying you can convert it for glimmer resources which you can but that's also worthless and just a huge time waste. They completely miss the issue with this whole thing. If glimmer isn't anything you're worried about, yeah you still have nothing to spend it on and Bungie dropped the ball on that.
