Pro tip for people struggling legend zero hour
If you are going for all the traits for outbreak wait till all three are available to get. Hit all the switch pairs then go do one legend run. That way you only have to do one legend run. I e tried twice. The first time we ran out of time halfway through the boss fight. Beat it the second time with 20 seconds.

24 Repliesit would of been fun if bungie removed the timer. but they continue to tank the game. l do hope Sony reads the complaints and views of the main player base. there will always be players that have played this game to long and cry for stupid inflated difficulty. when they should of moved on to other games.

Have just done (my wingman (son) actually *did it😉) the new Outbreak on normal…done with a few minutes on the clock.🥳 Got the ‘get siva’ bit done on Refined 1…then loaded Normal (I think?!) to get the key(s) in the first cleared section - no sure what they do?!🤔 Cleared next section to do the Access Codes - did them a few times, though not sure what they do or whether they’re actually done!?😵💫 I think Legend might be too much for this old tortoise…all these different keys / switches / hoops to jump through, against the clock, just ain’t fun for me.🫤 I did complete the Brave Seal though! 😅 Note to Self: Ease Springs! 🫡 * Edited for clarity 😊

Not a protip. More like common sense. I'm assuming you are talking about the switches for the ship? Do those on normal mode. They can be done solo as well and you have 40 mins and don't have to complete the mission. The switches for the catalyst can be done while having enough time to complete legend.

Dragon's breath is useful for Zero Hour legend. Mountaintop is also useful for sniping certain enemies.

Some problems I’ve seen for ZH is that people don’t use special or heavy or supers in the first combat encounters, you get a flag at the end for the boss so you are free to use it all. Another is that people take support supers when damage ones will be just objectively better. You can die in well because of the brig at the end, you don’t deal enough damage as a team to make up for tether just weakening, bubble is bubble. Hardest part is getting to the boss, get there with 7/8 minutes left and make sure you’re running weapons that can break all the shields and you’ll do fine

We 2 manned it with 3 minutes to spare (Legend) but failed the first two attempts and had to tune loadouts a little bit. Dragons Breath is good but it is not an easy Legend mission. You have to go as fast as possible through the jumping section and know where the maze switches are , nail almost every jump first try. If you get to the boss room with 5 minutes left you can make it with 2 people. I do not recommend running this solo Legend unless you are really fast
