LET US DO NAME CHANGES BUNGIE!
I don't understand why Bungie doesn't offer a name change for like $10 or something like wtf? Didn't they just lay off a bunch of people bc they couldnt make money. Ptsh. Poor management.

I strongly disagree with having ANY name changes. 1) Just a way for people to show off how unique and original they are. Those qualities are overrated. 2) I can't tell who is who anymore. Name changes ruin friendships.

Where to begin? 1. It isn't a priority because it has no impact on gameplay. 2. People would likely continue to pick stupid/offensive names that would be 'Guardian'd' and then complain about how Bungie robbed them since they paid for a new name. 3. People already complain about microtransactions as it is. On a side note, this is the wrong section of the forum for this; if you change the tag to 'Destiny 2' and 'Feedback' it'll get moved to the appropriate section. However, you'll probably get the same general reasons I just gave you.

I'm always amazed at how may people are perfectly willing to throw MORE money at BungLe for silly things. I don't understand the constant desire for people to change their names repeatedly. 🤷♂️

Bungie has offered a name change before, not sure if it’s still available? If you need to change your name more than once, then that’s on you!! We can all criticise Bungies management, & decisions that they make - but to criticise them for not offering to change names for money…. that is incredulous!!

I’m on board with Bungie bringing back name changes. But I do find it interesting that micro transactions are now so deeply ingrained into gaming culture that people are willing to see them on forums now too.
