You know who you are. Silent when something is ok but screaming on top of a mountain at the first opportunity to be negative. I can’t play with gamers like this. I instantly leave parties where the moaning and groaning is non stop. Here’s examples: “Of course, 5th legs drop today, bungo game is trash” “I hate GMs, such a slog, I can’t stand champions” “Content is recycled, bungo is lazy” “I got weaseled, this game is trash” “SBMM is ruining games, bungo is trash” “I want more, I want less, I want diff, I want the same, I want this to be brought back, I don’t want this to be recycled” It’s cool to have grievances and bring them up in a constructive way but man….. some gamers in party chat are just no fun to be around. if I’m LFGing for a GM or whatever and all u do is complain, ur getting booted, I didn’t sit down after a long day of work where colleagues and customers are b!Tching and moaning just to hear a gamer do the same. seriously, If the game is that negative for you, why do you keep playing? News flash: it isn’t cool to be negative. I’ve confronted quite a few players in parties about this and they usually say “my bad dude, I’m just used to everyone complaining so I thought I’d do the same” and then all of a sudden most realize it’s so much better to focus on the positives while acknowledging the negatives and providing constructive feedback. Here’s a better way, “I don’t love X but how about if they did Y, wouldn’t that be cool AF?” This is what I teach new comers into business, don’t complain to management unless you have 2-3 ideas to fix the problem. /end rant
