Awful Dares Deepsight drop chance. Make it like duality?
As the title states.
Dares of Eternity weapons have such a low and almost impossible drop rate.
I know I've probably done much less than most, but in 50 keys, I got 2 grenade launchers, and 2 shotguns.
Can we please have a change to make it heavily prioritize deepsight weapons?
I've already done the full catalyst grind for forerunner before, I don't want to run 500+ dares to get all the weapons deepsighted 5 times over with this current drop rate.

1 ReplyIts just another way to increase the grind. All they are doing is burning people out and making them quit. Already had a clan disolve over the grind.

1 ReplyPersonally I feel like older content that retroactively gets crafted weapons, should have the patterns unlocked for anyone who unlocked that weapon in their collections before it was craftable. Cause now I have to invest dozens of hours playing old content while playing the new content, not to mention its 100% rng and you may never getting the pattern unlocked for the weapon you want to craft.

All I care about is that my first ever Other Hslf sword dropped as a Deep sight so know I have a crafted Other Half sword and I’m never taking it off

1 ReplyI don't think the drop rate is the problem, the problem is that you need 5 patterns from an old piece of content, most players grinded out Dares last year, it's ridiculous that they expect players to grind it out again.

After nearly hundred keys I think, I'm sitting at 1 red border Wastelander, which is what I'm hunting for. I've got 3 purple swords, 1 blue sword, at least 10 trace rifles, 4 grenade launchers and 6 BxR's. My rng has been pretty great, but please just give me the shotgun lol! It's all I care about atm.

It does feel a little low, I guess Dares isn't going anywhere for a long while tho.

Yeah, after about 25 or so turn ins, I got 2 sword and 1 gl...and that includes 1 from pinnacle run drop. Rng for red bars is bad...but having to run 15 runs to maybe luck out on one red bar is stupid. Good luck also if you don't need a weapon, cause that might be another drop again later that wastes your red bar chances.

Did 1 run of the weekly legend and got both swords. I guess I got lucky

One pulse, so far. Worst RNG in the game. But I got a Half-truths with Chain Reaction. Lots of fun!

2 RepliesCould just be a coincidence but every drop I can remember getting from lightning rounds and the ogre were red borders.

I've actually had pretty good luck with dares weapons thus far. Its the new seasonal ones I can't seem to get enough red borders for.

Is it more efficient to farm regular or legend for red border dares? Certainly not having much luck on regular

Did a lot of legends earlier and only shotty and gl red borders, getting 5 pulses gonna be the end of me.

At least with dares weapons, the should be a guaranteed one/day from the chest by Xur
