Exotic Engrams
I have had this issue for a couple weeks now and it's getting really frustrating but my exotic engrams are dropping at the same PL as my legendaries ten power lower than my current power level. I just hit 370 and exotic gear is a big part of my grind at this point and it's not helping me at all. It's to the point where I just discard my engram because of this issue.

1 ReplyThis was an unforced error from Bungie. Reducing the drop rate of exotics (which they did) would have been enough to prevent fast leveling from this source. Instead they took away a significant source of excitement and anticipation. Once you have all of the exotics, the engrams can just be insta-sharded. They are worthless (besides the 5 shards). Bungie needs to revert this change. Yeah - you would still have no-lifers playing 16 hrs a day farming exotics, but you can't make overall game decisions based on 0.001% of the player population.

1 ReplyThis has been a thing for a while now. Exotics no longer drop higher then your level. They are as basic as legendaries now. No reason to get excited for them, no reason to try and grind to get them. Way to go bungo, making something that was rare and hard to come by so frickin useless and just handed out like candy.
