Bungie is laughing their ass off right now...

Everybody is posting hate- which is deserved, of course. I'm not on bungie's side. But they made their money, and they enjoy keeping us on a hook. Nothing we say or do will change anything. It's like in my Eco class I took: Money > Masses Crooked, but true. Sadly, nothing will change or improve. That's the way it is.

  • Of course they’re laughing all the way to the bank...because all the hate they receive...a good portion of it is posted by people who play. almost. every. damn. day. Like you. Why wouldn’t they be like “hell these guys whine a lot but sure as shit they love the game, they can’t stop playing”?

      • I don’t think they’ll be laughing if less people buy d3 than d2.

        • I'm sure a business finds it hilarious they lost around 7 million players along with DLC revenue they may have spent. Perhaps you should have taken another class. That money comes from the masses, without those masses they make less money. More people equals more money, business for dummies. What Bungie are doing is realising their second attempt at gutting a game and selling it back slowly isn't working because, in large part thanks to EA, people are sick of being used as money tree's. EA pushed microtransactions too hard and people pushed back .. only they pushed back everywhere. Bungie thought they had a way to constantly make money and while people are buying from the eververse it's nowhere near the numbers they thought it would be. No company plans for an 80% and rising player retention failure and no company finds it funny. This is one case neither dev nor player are amused.

        • And as the masses learn, their future profits will get less and less

          • Except they're a company that need revenue for more than one year

            • They have been hurt, unless they step up, it's gonna hurt more. So step up, Bungie.

            • They won't be laughing when D3 sales fail to meet Activision predictions and expectations and then they have to go to that board meeting and explain why they barely hit 75% of their sales forecasts.

              • They are laughing at the playerbase continually decreasing, the non stop bad pr, the huge amount of people getting refunds, and all good will they've destroyed?

                • The bungie execs who designed this downfall to get out of their activision contracts are laughing probably.

                  • I agree the only real opportunity to send a message will be a full on boycott of anything and everything D3 related.
