32 RepliesEdited by OldboyVicious: 12/11/2017 11:50:24 PMI'll start a kickstarter and try to raise enough to buy it. The first thing on the table: writing an actual story. Second: Increasing the variety of mechanics for replayability. Story missions should be able to be played over and over with different modifiers, similar to skulls in Halo. Third: Making PvP and PvE separate things. You can use the same weapons and armor in both, but in the adjustable training environment of PvE, changes are made so that PvE is fun and fair. Fourth: Microtransactions. I will still have Microtransactions. Purchased items will be cosmetic only, and no loot box systems. RNG will still exist in certain reward systems, but when you spend money, you get what you pay for, no surprises. 40% of all Microtransactions purchases go toward the budget for the writing staff, 40% goes to the new content development team. 20% goes to the overall company profits. Every month I will publish the $ amount that microtransactions have raised, and a comprehensive report on how that money translates into story and content creation. Fifth: The top 3 bumped feedback posts on Bnet each quarter, will go into an official site-wide vote. The community will vote on the importance of each one, and what changes they want. Actual honest feedback will be published directly addressing the issues. How much the changes will cost, how long they will take, and a comprehensive projected outcome. If one of the top 3 suggestions are impossible to implement, they will be disqualified with an open and honest report to the players on why the change cannot occur at this time, and the 4th most bumped post will take it's place. Sixth: Vault space & gear variety. Almost everything in kiosks, most things you delete are recoverable at a kiosk in their basic, unmodified form. This change will coincide with the development team creating tons of new weapons and armor. Big variety from ourokes to common gear, each rarity being recoverable at a low light level. The goal would be to make solid greens, blues, purples, that would be relevant in PvP where light level is irrelevant, so there woukd be more variety of options for PvP. Implementing ways to create more variety in weapon and armor builds. Possibly a comprehensive crafting system where you create your own gear over time after accumulating materials, mods, etc. So you might grab a green at light level 100 gun from your kiosk, and really like it in PvP. Through crafting, you mod it to be something special but it's still a low level green, that wouldn't necessarily be great for PvE. You would store this modified green in your vault, because from the kiosk you only pick up the basic unmodded version. Personally crafted gear will have the potential to be wholly unique, and will be one of a very few items not recoverable/duplicate-able in a kiosk. Obviously this kind of system would have to be carefully created and would be complicated, requiring a lot of development, this basic rundown is just off the top of my head. Seventh: Character customization. Ghosts can resurrect characters in a new physical form and image. Just visit the vendor. Tons more character customization options will be added. Beards. Lots more, don't have the time.

Honestly I think bungie just need a better father figure in their lives. They've shown they have the ability, they have just become wayward and somewhat moody in their development approach. It would be fantastic if they could break away from Activision and either get picked up by a more consumer friendly publisher, or just try going it alone. I'd love to see them partner with someone like CD projekt red or Bethesda, the GOOD Bioware. With the extra help from one of these predominantly RPG focused companies I believe they could really bring their Destiny world to realization. More intimate story, depth! And a real sense of actual adventure. Bungie do the gunplay great! But the amount of quality that could be injected into the game with the help of one of these companies would lift the game to the heights that we wish it was.

Most the people on here can't afford to even buy the 35 dollar expansion
-
Why??
-
Give it to Joseph Staten or bring him back for the love of Destiny... They booted the only person who actually understands the thing he created...

5 RepliesI don't blame bungie, I blame Activision. It's like with battlefront 2, Dice made an amazing game that had so much potential... And EA ruined that . If I need to explain this then I have this to say
I Have Been Summoned
-
Um... basically every major corporation has lost their damn minds...
-
If they keep going the way they’re going Activision will check the rights to destiny away from them

6 RepliesWHAT THW HEXK IS WRONG WITH THE CRUCIBLE. THIS IS LAZER TAG PEOPLE. IS SUCKS. Ok ok ok, I’ve been a D1 crucible player since the day it came out. Everything about it (except mida) I’ve loved to this point with no question. But what is this?!! Is is flipping lazer tag, you get hit for a second, you’re dead, everyone is limited to using it because you can’t do anything without it. This isn’t the destiny crucible I know. I have recently been deciding to do things other than crucible. I would God honest rather go run around on my own doing public events than a sucky game of crucible

Start a gofundme.

2 RepliesYou do realise that the main issue isnt bungie alone. The issue is Activision giving them crappy deadlines to get stuff pushed out to the public and that results in a rushed product and leaves it feeling incomplete. Stop whole heartedly blaming bungie...
-
Gearbox made borderlands 2 with 1/50th the money Bungie got And made a game over 6 times the size
-
D2 is the biggest scam of my gaming life.
