No exotic engrams dropping
Just trying to see if this is a common issue or extremely bad rng luck but I have now completed at least 40 heroic public events, and 15 strikes (with fireteam token active and clan rank 3) and have yet to get a single exotic drop. The exotics I do [i]rarely[/i] get are from chests, milestones, or quest rewards.
However, like clockwork in every public event and/or strike, I ALWAYS get two blue engrams.
Is anyone else having this issue?

Im yet to see a exotic engram drop. my friend keeps getting exotic drops but i dont not a single drop i have no idea why which really sucks.

During this one month I had completed every single milestone for my hunter and did more then 50 nightfall strike for unique loot. I even made sure to ask my fireteam members to use boons on every run. I also grinded for Malfeasance and obtained it. But only gotten one damn year 1 exotic during this one month which made me to think there must be something wrong. Before the update, playing since the forsaken launch I had gotten all forsaken hunter exotic armor except the Shard. I didn't get any new exotic weapons but got numerous year 1 exotic, enough to get sick of seeing old exotic over and over again. It feels really frustrated when I get decimated in gambit by Queenbreaker which I can't get no matter how much I grind. I really feel something needed to be changed.

1 ReplySame. I always use the buffs and haven't gotten a single exotic from the public events (heroic) in about 10 hours worth of play time.

Basically if I run all challenges a day I get 1 per character. I think this might have to do with down time grabbing other chests and what not. I think I'm just going to strictly do events and see what happens. I just want the o rigs plz!

7 RepliesOn average I was getting a exotic engram from a public event about every 8th or 10th event completion,did not matter if it was heroic version or not and always with one of the coins active. After the patch/update on Monday out of 50+ public events I have not gotten 1 exotic engram. Just like D1,about 1 or 2 weeks after a DLC or such they apply a patch/update and the high level rewards become very scarce.Anyone that played D1 from the beginning could have told you that.

My RNG has also sucked when it comes to public events. I have 3 characters around 290-295 and have only had 2 exotic engrams drop from all my grinding Most of my exotics have come from vendor packages.

Yeah they were secretly nerfed . Kinda bs if you ask me . Before patch every exotic I got was different after patch duplicates and nothing new. Frankly I find it pretty poor that they are issues patches that secretly do something like we wouldn't notice . The first week of the game was more exciting due to the drops . You felt rewarded now ... i don't know . Z

IDK, I get about 1 per 10 heroics.

22 before I had a drop, and before the patch I was getting them on average about every 8 or so , don't know if killing a target and looting the chest would have an effect on event drops.
