The division has way better pvp
The division's pvp is better in every way than destiny

It's less about gunplay and more about tactical stand offs. I wouldn't say it's better. Just different.

I wouldn't even give Destiny the respect to call that unbalanced mess PVP anyway. I really enjoyed Destiny for PVE before they killed it, but the PVP was garbage and totally inferior to many other gaming options out there. Destiny has two modes: PVE and Waste of time.

When I was in lower-ranking brackets, players seemed much more paranoid and rogues appeared more often and were more successful. Now that I've hit the endgame, it's a whole other tale. Now other players are more concerned with farming bosses for loot. And on the rare occasion a rogue appears it's because some idiot ran into someone else's line of fire and got swiss cheesed on accident. Not to mention that enemies in some areas are so numerous and strong, agents really can't afford to be paranoid of other agents. Dark Zone > Crucible, but the DZ still has faults.

It has NO pvp until like 2 or 3 months from now when a decent amount of the remaining players have made a second agent just for pvp

5 RepliesI died like a scrub to a boss in the rank 30 dark zone. So was like "fine whatever, going to pick up that one meaningless purple real quick, then just log off." Then some dude came in behind me and shot me once, not enough to rogue... ignored him. Then he stole my Sh*t!! So he had to die... Killed him quickly no problems, he wasn't ready. I run around under ground to wait out my time and finally it goes away. When suddenly he finds me... Angry he lays into me... well... the floor really since dodging works. I turned and dropped him. The midas... so nssty. So op...

Just because it has PvP does not make the same nor better/worse. Division is open world PvPvE Destiny is your basic PvP with 6v6, 3v3 with modes like TDM, or Control/domination. The Division has none of that, just an open world where you loot shit and kick ass.

i don't think that the two could be more different. the only similarity is that there is a gun that you shoot by pulling the right trigger. they aren't comparable to each other.

Not really, in the division, it's a bunch of people ganging up on solo players, 1 person trying to lone wolf rogue, or nothing interesting happens and it's just a free roam session. I never had any tense interplayer interaction, just shooting first or not at all. Also, the TTK is ridiculous in that game. It's not to promote teamwork or skill, it just takes too long to drop players. I shouldn't be able to pump a whole mosin mag into somebody's head, just to have them survive due to the fact that the medkits+cover system leads to campfests and nade spam.
