8 RepliesWell, guns are designed specifically to remove targeted portions of an organic lifeform, leading to severe injury, trauma, and usually death. Consciously obtaining and owning such a device means that, by proxy, you are perfectly fine with injuring or killing another lifeform, regardless of intent. Otherwise, the device becomes merely a dangerous and expensive paperweight that is best located within an also expensive safe designed specifically to safely contain said paperweight.

Throw a gun on a table and tell it to kill someone. Will it do it? Didn't think so. Throw a screwdriver on a table and tell it to build. Will it do it? Didn't think so. I understand that people use firearms to kill people but its not the weapon itself that commits to the crime. I personally believe that a stricter gun control low must be in place instead of implicating a full gun ban.
