Selling aesthetic items for real world currency is fine. Like emotes, shaders, sparrows or ships. But I disagree strongly with selling anything with an attack or defence rating. I love this game because it's not "pay to win". I would hate Bungie to take the wrong steps in that direction. Imagine the 2 scenarios: -- A kid who has loads of money given to him from mummy and daddy, otherwise they scream! -- An adult/teen who works their arse off, and can just about afford the game after bills. Why should the bratty kid get extra in game help?

 • I appreciate what you're saying, but that's why I specifically avoided suggesting weapons and the 4 armour types that carry exotic/raid tier perks. Limiting ETCs offerings to 280 light and only the 3 armour types I suggested, the only advantage those buying them would have would be not having to grind out 120 marks.

 • But that's the point I'm making, they can avoid spending legendary marks with real money. That's coming away from the aesthetics and entering "Pay to win" territory.

 • I guess I'll concede it's a grey area. The few items I've listed are readily available at several vendors and don't offer any fantastic perks (increased spin metal drops from chests ad resource nodes isn't going to help you win).

 •
the adult/teen shouldn't be plying video games as it's considered a luxury
I work hard, I pay the bills and feed my wife and kids. We don't have spoils of money left over but I saved enough for this game and the DLCs. Are you saying I shouldn't play because it's considered a luxury? So basically the harder someone works, the less they are entitled to luxury. But kids who get the world given to them are fine? Wow nice outlook on hard workers mate.

 • To be fair I used to by some crazy crap before I got married and had kids lol! I just disagree with the micro transaction route if it takes the "pay to win" road. Would make the game feel less worth the time spent. For all of us not just people like myself.
