Dim Light

Dim Light I haven’t had much time to write in my new journal. We’re currently on a mission to hunt down a fallen captain, and extract the information needed from him. The mission detail talk about a ancient map that pinpoints to an ancient weapon somewhere in Old Jersey. Unfortunately on our way to capture him he was captured by a Vex Brigade. My name is Ekrem, I’m a warlock nicked named the Silver one because of me being awoken. I’m the current leader on this mission, while my teammates Tim, Amy, Orrick and his recruits are here to assist. I might be the strategist, but my friends are certainly the heavy hitters. Tim for example is my best friends ever sense we we’re kids. He’s a human Titan and one of the most talented titans that I’ve ever known, of course he wouldn’t be half as good without the expertise of Amy are EXO Hunter. She trained me and Tim when we we’re children and has been watching over us for as long as I can remember. Orrick is a hunter as well as a good mechanic we’re lucky to have him. Hey what are you doing over there Ekrem “just writing” Ekrem sighed saying, while looking in the direction of the recruits. I don’t know about having these new recruits Tim. We can handle this mission on our own we’re taking a big risk bringing noobs. “Ekrem we were all once noobs at one point Tim said”…And you still are Amy said snickering”. “Ekrem at one point we all got to grow up, the recruits have certainly gone through just as harsh training as we have, we got to give them a chance to prove themselves Amy proposed”. “What are you guys talking about Orrick probed”, it’s nothing Orrick we’re just talking about the mission. Are you’re recruits ready Orrick Tim asked. Ready as they’ll ever be Orrick cautiously reassured. Ekrem continued to look in the direction of the recruits as they sat at the table scared and nervous avoiding eye contact with the rest of team, Tim couldn’t help but hide his laughter. Ekrems A.I Dadab told the crew that they were approaching the black marsh entering Old Jersey. It’s really a sight to behold. What was once a sprawling city in the old books of presumably a forgotten time, Is now ruins. A giant swamp covers most of the land while black suit flows down like rain, giant caverns that look almost bottomless are like giant pot holes in random places, all over the city. Ekrem told Dadab to drop Star Child (ship) at Mavericks keep. As they needed the supplies and a resting area before they went out on their mission. While they we’re getting closer they could see Mavericks keep Dim light in the distance, and see unwelcomed guest fighting near the keep , it was just the Hive probing Mavericks keep plasma charged shields for a weakness. They we’re being lit up by the shields that would spark and singe anything into dust if it got within 10 feet of it. Of course know one among the group thought much of it, Mavericks keep was doing its job and kept the Hive at bay and away from the safe zone. But there was a plan in place something set in motion, somewhere in the dark depths, in the grotesque, organic living caverns of old jersey. There was a creature being created a hive mongrel. New leadership was being chosen, a monster was setting his sights on Mavericks keep and the guardians that dared to set foot on the Hives holy land. All that can be heard in these caverns was the hissing and the blood curdling screams of the fallen captain being tortured and the Vex brigade being turned into hunks of scrap metal. The hive had just captured vermin the same vermin that Ekrems squad is seeking, even though ignorant to how important these vermin are they have discovered away to tear down the guardian forces and Mavericks keep. And an ancient map will lead them to the instrument of destruction.
