  • Mission Statement

    The Legendary Hunters who first explored beyond the Cosmodrome now lay silent, long since barried, have passed down their cloaks to a new generation. Their goals have become that of many, but none the less just as important; push back the darkness, and restore the light of civilization. Many have fallen to the Darkness, consumed by their inner demons and made to destroy their kin, but we still have time to change. We can push back the night and save tomorrow for those who have no voice, who have only the will of the traveler to shield them now. Like the sea that rises and falls upon the shores of many distant worlds we must remain vigilant and haunt the dark corners were they lurk.

Coyote Wish List : Class Based Missions

I agree, my class doesn't feel special

I really feel they need more missions directly related to each class that give the player a feel for the three archetypes; - [u]Mage(Warlock)[/u] : [i]Imagine more spiritual and mystical quests that dwell deeper into what it means to be a warlock; a warrior-scholar in search for the deep meanings left by the traveler. The way of the mage is not to seek power, but to understand the secrets of creation and set aside ignorance for wisdom and courage in knowing the true path[/i]. - [u]Ranger(Hunter)[/u] : [i]With the dawn they rise, with a wisper their prey falls and once more a single step is taken to return the frontier to humanity grasp. The way of the ranger is not to lay claim to the world, but make the harshness of the wilds their own, and if your lucky you might walk in their shadow, but never truly hear the whispers of the wind or the echoes of the stones.[/i] - [u]Knight(Titan)[/u] : [i]For just an moment, men die upon the fields of battle and are reborn; reforged into the will of the Traveler, the force that brings ruin to that which slithers & crawls in the dark. The way of knight is not that of destrustion, but the way of the shield; where no blade can cut stands the Titan, rendering flesh to ash & bones to dust[/i]. These are the three paths that we should follow, but none are made to walk these paths and our ability suffers from it. So many play guardians they are not suited to; you may crush the foes before you, but you will never master the skills or walk the path so many before you have tread. So I ask, why not change this; make every play through feel like each is another world, another lifetime to each player. Not in length, but in detail; in the way the story feels and help to reveal that each is equal but another way, much different from one another but together none the less.

  • These are paths to walk, but if fear of walking the path brings you disappointment you should know these are not new things; they were around much longer then I and you should find yourself the one to blame for such disappointment for knowingly walking the wrong path.
