Spoiler Alert: who already beat the huge boss ogre in chains.
so me and my clan "Laughings Coffin" just defeated this huge ogre in chains surrounded by wizards and all other space zombie mess they could throw at us, it took close to 35-40 minutes to beat and it was totally awesome, has anyone else beat it and what you thought about it, also if you know the name of the ogre post it. The ogre fight was probably the most fun boss fights that i had done so far. It did take me only 20 minutes or maybe even less. You just had to collect all the special and heavy ammo. The key to success was just kill all other creatures, and let the ogre follow you. Whenever the ogre looked at you, just unleash all of the firepower you had in his head/eye (whatever gave you the headshot bonuses). The golden gun was also a big help...

I defeated Pogoth last night with two other randoms, is not that hard, but you have to move yourself a lot and have at least one of the team to deal with mobs.

Endless wipes with the first three groups (then rage quitters, one time connection error), but a few hours ago I was matchmaked with two players who knew their shit... no wipe,, just a nice, clean run. Boss takes quite some time though... I think I like the first strike better.

I want everyone to know this cause I hate wiping on that boss....his weak spot is his stomach....I'm watching people shooting at his head while I'm shaking mine....the more you know!!

Oh yeah 40 mins and soooo many close calls flying aesy through a barrage lol with just a sliver of health makes some intense moments on this boss but so fun

Maybe change the title to: Spoiler Alert: Moon Strike Boss. Thing was a pain, try it on the level 20 vangard strike playlist, that really sucked, especially being level 16... luckily we had someone sit back and be a spawn point.

9 RepliesAn extremely short raid it was. Three waves waiting for that one door, go a little farther underground and fight the chained ogre. Hard difficulty really wasn't that bad. They need a legendary difficulty

We got all the way to the bottom before matchmaking found us a third - another level 8. I just ran circles around the bottom level keeping the walls between me an him and dodging all the mayhem, tossing a cluster bomb and my super at him when they were ready. After about an hour it was just him and us so we encircled him and opened fire. At the end we grabbed the gold chest on the lower perform and I was level 17 and the other 2 got to level 10. Sadly my blue gear was crap compared to my current green kit. I'd do it again still, I just won't stay up until 4 am on a Wednesday to do it.

Beat it late last night (GMT) me and a few random guardians gotlanded together and we were out of our depth because we were all only level 12 with fair gear. Though we did it on the third try of the boss. That was the finest fireteam I could have been landed with, incredibly commited and adaptive even without communication. Beat it twice more today, one round we managed to beat the boss in 10 minutes or so xD It was a good challenge and I look forward to the others.
